After a lengthy lawsuit that saw the Democrats achieve few victories in their goal of stopping the audit of the 2020 ballots in Maricopa County, Arizona, they have reached a settlement with the firm involved in the audit and the Senate Republicans that will see the firm, Cyber Ninjas, cease verifying the signatures on early voting envelopes with the signatures on file from the voter.

Could be bad for the battle at Maracopa, while good the war in exposing the complete failure of civilian government (as noted by Clarence Thomas last December).
If signature verification was law at the time of the election then it makes no sense for Republicans to agree to drop it. If anyone knows what was the law as of November 3 it would be quite helpful.
hmmm....
noting I might have been had by a mostly-accurate satire site.
I’m not familiar with National File before this. Are they legit?
I fully believe the democrats cheated. But people’s signature changes over time. But, it is interesting they wanted to stop this particular facet of the audit.
Why would the auditors agree to such a thing? Unless they are following some other evidence trail and feel the signature confirmation is unnecessary for their purposes.
I don’t see this as a big deal. Verifying a signature is very difficult. I voted early in person and my ballot was held back because my signature did not look the same. My vote was finally counted, my signature never looks because my writing is sloppy.
This is a complete farce. If there is nothing to hide, why are Demonrats opposed to every aspect of this? Nonsense. They know there is fraud and don’t want it revealed.
“I don’t see this as a big deal. Verifying a signature is very difficult. “
It can be hard if someone tries to carefully forge a signature. But it’s easy when criminals churning them out in a mill with no exemplar to work from is just signing them from a list of names.
Furthermore, you will notice when thousands have the exact same handwriting...all from the same address.
Here in PA in Beaver County there were over 1200 ballots from a number of nursing homes with signatures done by one person.
Many of the voters had dementia or were comatose.
Signature verification is f the utmost importance.
Same here, in Florida...
You can’t change a law through a settlement agreement. PERIOD! It’s blackletter law [although blackletter laws is racist white privilege nonsense as we all know].
What I am not getting is what the RINOs think they can salvage from their "hold my beer and watch me take out Trump while I keep the Senate." They horribly miscalculated, the Dems have the country in a pretzel hold and the Republican base will not settle down until we see RINO heads on pikes outside the city gates - and not just a couple of them, either. And the dems must be killing themselves laughing at the RINOs thinking they have any say in anything. They screwed up worse than Wile E. Cayote on his darkest days. They have not hit the canyon floor yet, much less the dead RINO bounce before they auger in for a more specatacular finish.
My arthritis fingers keep my signature different, but there are still little clues to look for. I’m not a signature expert but I think I can spot a fake. I worked for True the Vote at one time until they changed format.
That's ballgame over, folks. If we can't verify the envelope signatures against the voter rolls, then there is no way to determine how many forged ballots were submitted.
Unbelievable. The Republicans once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Bingo.
They are legit.
It gets worse!
The same DOJ that manufactured the Russia collusion hoax & allowed the 2020 election fraud to interfere with the Arizona audit!

You folks tired of corruption yet?
