Well thank goodness she went to Rhode Island! The troubles there are very serious, indeed. :/
As twisted and cynical as I am I’d bet an unregistered foreign boat came in with payoffs and cash and the book store was the drop location.
What in the hell else would a person occupying her office have to do in Rhode Island for a few hours?
