Did he die solely because they brandished it or did one stab him? It sounds like the author is working to minimize what happened.

He collapsed and died after the police arrived. Sounds like a heart attack. Being robbed at knife point by "youths" is a stressful event, and a flood of adrenaline can certainly strain the heart. In the article, none of the "youths" is being charged in his death, just the robbery. The knife wielder was a 12 year old boy. Yes, 12.
