Four more children, ranging in age from 11 to 15 years old, have been arrested in connection to a robbery at the Atlantic City Boardwalk that resulted in a store owner collapsing and dying last month after one child pulled a knife on him.
The arrests include an 11-year-old girl, two 14-year-old girls and a 15-year-old girl, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office announced Tuesday in a press release. They are also implicated in what prosecutors called “additional criminal acts” prior to the robbery at 66-year-old Mahmood Ansari’s store.

Did he die solely because they brandished it or did one stab him? It sounds like the author is working to minimize what happened.

The “children” will get a slap on the wrist if that for causing this guy’s death because everyone knows that if you’re killed by a “child” you’re not nearly as dead as if you were killed by an older person. The US seems to have a weird (to me) idea that criminal acts are somehow different depending on the race and age of the criminal or on the presumed mental attitude of the criminal. If you love your victim you’re better off than if you hate your victim. Hate crimes are thought crimes. Personally gassing all of the “children” who caused the guy’s death seems to be the best idea. Plus think of all of the future crimes that would never occur.

No report says he was stabbed. Sounded like the had a heart attack or stroke. Cop on scene did CPR until paramedics arrived.
I noticed that too: “children, child, girl, girls ...” This press reporter trips all over trying NOT to declare them even “present” - as if they were accidently there pulling knives and stabbing innocents.
With how many felonies NOT found, how many hundred crimes NOT known about since they were 8-9-10 years old? Forget the juvenile crimes that will be erased when they turn “adult criminals” - how many hundreds more did they commit that they were NOT arrested for as “girls”?
The article indicates a 12 year old boy was arrested as well and the language, although vague, indicates that it may have been the boy who pulled the knife. There is no mention of any stabbing, so I’ll assume a heart attack brought on by the threatening.
