2. Along those lines ... Marsha Blackburn might have been a great fit for this post before she moved from the House to the Senate.
I am seriously questioning if there are any. It is disappointing to me.
As for you never considering a member of House as being a leader in any sense of the word; on the surface, you are correct. There are very few leaders on the Republican side of the aisle. They are lacking. I portend that the House GOP does require leaders, just the correct ones. Those leaders need to follow the leader of the GOP, which I currently consider as being Donald J. Trump. Consider them as middle management that lead masses of the elected Republican congressmen. However, they must report to, follow the leadership and be loyal to executive management, in this case, President Trump. They did not show that during the first two years of Trump's term, when they held the majority in both the House and Senate. They squandered great opportunities and lost 2018 and 2020 because of it.
