Perhaps the problem is defining just who ‘the party’ is. Is it the 80M people or so who VOTED for Trump, or is it the 500 or so ‘movers and shakers’ who live in DC (sometimes in the same apartments) and who HATE Trump? For the second group, McCain has a point, Liz Cheney DOES represent them...she’s an EXCELLENT representative of the crap that Trump was put through, for the crime of representing his voters.

McCain needs to have a “coming out party” and join the democrats. She has already in every way except by public admission. at least Joe Scarborough finally admitted it, but it took Trump to smoke him out.
