For a long time, the FBI has stood as the admirable symbol of a police agency of government, implacably going after the bad guys and neutrally enforcing the laws. This is the FBI of the movie “The Untouchables,” in which special agent Eliot Ness leads his devoted crew of armed agents in a heroic battle against the forces of organized crime.
Well, forget about the Untouchables. Today’s FBI has quite obviously been corrupted from the top. This is a process that seems to have begun under President Barack Obama, endured during the President Donald Trump years, and has now reached its unfortunate nadir under President Joe Biden. It’s time for conservatives and Republicans to start thinking about getting rid of the FBI.
I want to highlight two sets of contrasting episodes that give us a window into how biased and partisan this once-respected agency has now become. Contrast the treatment the FBI has given to Jan. 6 activists with that it has afforded to Antifa and Black Lives Matter protesters.
The FBI has unrelentingly hunted down Jan. 6 protesters, in many cases confronting Trump supporters who were merely in Washington at the time, or at the mall rally but not involved in entering the Capitol.
Those who have been arrested have been treated like domestic terrorists, captured in raids involving drawn weapons, even though the charges against most of them amount to little more than trespassing or entering a government facility without proper permission.
Nonviolent offenders have been given the same brutal treatment as violent ones. And to this day, the FBI promulgates images—a grandma here, a teenager there—asking the public to help them track down still-at-large individuals who had something, anything, to do with the events of Jan. 6.

The 900 FBI files that Hillary held will pale in comparison to the dirt the Rats/Media will hold in “confidence” to blackmail people as naked Communist James Comey tried to do to President Trump with his threat of telling the media about the “russian pee pee video”.
Time was the FBI did go after Communist agents and subversives.

The Hoover who made the early FBI what it was for decades (and yes, held blackmail pieces to intimidate the powerful Presidents and DC Deep State of his day) was very much anti-Communist and patriotic.
Comey and McCabe and the rest are poseurs and phonies, as well as traitors who helped usher in our Marxist future with the Dems.
It is frightening to think the FBI in 2021 has the power of recording any of our cell and landline phone calls, our medical records, financial records, credit card purchase lists and much more. And they can use it against patriotic Americans, not for us.

While I agree with this assessment, I believe it’s gone far beyond just the FBI. It’s the CIA, NSA, IRS, DOD, etc...all have been infiltrated and corrupted by Leftists and tolerated at a minimum by weak and likely complicit RINO’s.

Agree 100%. The FBI today is nothing but the SA of the DemoMarxist Reich doing the bidding of Herr Pelosi. Go to their Facebook page. They have “wanted” posts of people involved in the Capital tour Jan. 6th. EVERY “wanted” post is for people involved it that. They have ZERO posts for Antifa or BLM. Why is that? Because Pelosi is telling them to. The FBI is a totally politicized taxpayer funded paramilitary unit of the DemoMarxist Reich.

The founders had good reasons to restrict the office to natural born citizens.
Obama is not one.
Proof enough they were correct?
Now they are communists and subversives.
Don’t get me wrong. FBI is still doing valuable work. But are they corrupted? Absolutely. They’ll go after Trump Loyalists while ignoring Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton. That tells us everything we need to know about FBI.

Abolish the FBI and look hard at abolishing CIA and NSA et al.

The FBI budget is around 9 billion with 35,000 or so employees they deign to let us to know about. Can’t really see anything happening to it. It was probably too late 50+ years ago to do anything about the alphabet agencies.

The problem with the FBI is that its leadership was corrupted by Obama. He did the same thing with the military and that’s the reason we see it today pursuing “social justice” instead of military preparedness.
When President Trump should have fired Comey and some of the other top staff (McCabe and Strzok, for example), but like most of us probably thought FBI agents were men of honor. They weren’t.

Is Dinesh being serious ? Trump was all set for house cleaning in his second term but turned out the GOP, as corrupt as the FBI if not more, had other plans.
