You’re right. Some think he will be reelected because he’s a Mormon in a Mormon state but Utah is chock full of conservative Mormons to choose from. Romney is dead in the water.

It is kind of funny that on one hand he is touting his independent voice and "saying like it is", about what he did to President Trump. However, the republicans who are booing him are supposed to conform and not express their independence.
A big sign of a liberal is their failure to look at themselves in the mirror.
He claims that those who dislike him are being divisive and will not help the party win.
However, what he and the other fake republicans did to Trump was apparently not divisive and does not spoil the party's chances.
The small RINO wing that controls the party has been using this rhetoric for a long time. It could have worked about six years ago. Now people should just show them the upturned middle finger.
Utah GOP leadership needs to find other useful employment.
