Despite last-minute and anonymous robocalls charging her with “murdering her husband” and a well-funded anti-Trump Republican, the widow of the late Republican Rep. Ron Wright topped the crowded race Saturday to fill his seat in Texas’ 6th District.
With near-final returns in Sunday morning from the 23-candidate field, Susan Wright had about 24 per cent of the vote. With all candidates regardless of party on the same ballot, the second place was a near-tie (14 per cent each) between Republican State Rep. Jake Ellzey and Democrat Jana Lynne Sanchez.

Seems like conservatives learned something in the past 5 years of dems attacking Trump and RINOs stabbing him in the back. Add to that 300 political prisoners right now.

I got one of the robocalls accusing Wright of murder for a $1 million insurance policy. Gave an address inArlington for the perp.
We eased the message but now wished that I had kept it.

Trump officially won this district in ‘20 by 3% (yes I know it was actually more) but in this special election the top five were: three R’s got 44% vs. the two D’s at 23%. I hope that is a trend for ‘22
Oh there was a Susan Wright in Texas who murdered her husband all right....about 10 years ago in Houston. Wonder if they looked any further before throwing Susan Wright and husband murdering together?........brother
