Next time you have nothing to do, contemplate the number of chickens that are “processed” everyday to supply just your state.
Chick-Fila, KFC, Bojangles, McDonalds, every bar in town that serves Buffalo Wings, cat food etc., etc...
Nothing better than a whole chicken cooked slowly in a dutch oven at home - with maybe some carrots, potatoes and onions surrounding it. The meat falls right off the bones. Way better than even rotisserie.
Is this why I’m now hearing roosters crowing in my suburban neighborhood?

I blame the wings restaurants. What are they doing with the rest of the chicken? We should just go looking for wingless chickens walking around on the streets. Should be easy to catch with a net if Stallone can catch them bare handed.

Tried the Zaxbys entrant to the chicken sandwich wars yesterday. It was delicious and the breast was roughly twice the size of the bun.

Plenty of fresh/frozen at grocery store, your problem is a Freezer. Chinese crap, 13 cu ft. nothing bigger, a 5 cu ft chest is $219, was $100 last year. The 3 upright units were at the NAVY BASE, chest Kroger’s. Not selling. Freezer plants shut down to make VENTALATORS.
The last few articles have been about shortages in gas, chlorine & chicken.
This in the former land of plenty.

Not to fret. From egg to fryer is only six weeks. It takes much longer to get egg layers when there is a shortage.
