Facing a defamation lawsuit, conservative television outlet Newsmax on Friday apologized to Dominion Voting Systems security director Eric Coomer and backed off claims that he manipulated voting machines and counts to thwart the re-election of President Donald Trump.
"Newsmax has found no evidence that Dr. Coomer interfered with Dominion voting machines or voting software in any way, nor that Dr. Coomer ever claimed to have done so," it said in a statement. "Nor has Newsmax found any evidence that Dr. Coomer ever participated in any conversation with members of 'Antifa,' nor that he was directly involved with any partisan political organization." There has been no evidence that the election was rigged.
Coomer said in December that he received death threats after his photo, home address and details about his family circulated on right-wing websites. "It's terrifying," he said.
After the apology, which was posted on Newsmax's site and set to air on its cable channel, Coomer dropped the outlet from a defamation suit that also names the Trump campaign, onetime Trump lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, conservative outlet One America News Network and others.

Dominion would easily lose any court case that involved discovery, and they know it, so threats and bluster is all they’ve got. Newmax has been compromised.
Who is Doctor Coomer? I never heard him mention once.

Dr. Coomer has made several videos at seminars and is well known as a high official of Dominion and a major writer of code.
He made a video at one seminar where he assured his listeners that he made sure that there would be no way Trump could win. This statement was made before the election.I no longer have the link that goes directly to his statement, but here is a page with many links. They will give you the idea.

I think the problem with the Eric Coomer story was that there doesn’t appear to be any evidence he ever claimed to have rigged the Dominion machines against President Trump in the 2020 election.
Also might be because, unlike John Adams, there are too many gutless attorneys and lawfirms put there. Newsmax might not have been able to get anyone period.

Newsmax was totally irresponsible in making their specious claims against Dominion. Good for them in admitting it. Mike Lindell will soon correctly be doing the same thing.
By the way, it is dangerous to even discuss this because of the way the Constitution has been warped, mangled,corrupted.prostituted....take your choice.
He’s been covered many times only I don’t think he’s a doctor of anything. He’s a psychopath involved in hurting Americans for over a decade with an aim to enrich himself.
