Pence = traitor. He let our nation fall into the hands of demons who want to destroy it. Puke on him!

I see you didn't realize that I was quoting Biden when he said "(Jan. 6th) was the biggest attack on our Democracy since the Civil War"

Oh yeah and he IGNORED 9/11, in addition to the BIG STEAL OF NOV. 2O20.

I admire how Trump can be polite and generous with people he has a strong disagreement with.
But I doubt he would trust Pence again, and he shouldn’t.
For a brief moment Pence was the most powerful person on the planet.
All he had to say was there is too much controversy regarding the selection and we need to resolve it. There is even precedent for it.
But when the moment came he was a coward.

I doubt anyone could have summarized the FACTS more succinctly. Kudos to you!

Kinda looking forward to the day some of them fail to heed the “Bad Dog” sign at the entrance to my farm! My “boys” have already chewed up a couple of trespassers!

Likewise Pence is responsible what is happening now, for for certifying highly suspicious results.

Well and truly said, and every word of it!

he’s too bland to be effective in a political knife fight.

I’ve always distrusted people who appear to be incapable of raising their voice. Pence seemed to be that type of person.

Given the antipathy toward Pence among Trump supporters, this important work of reconciliation and re-engagement is urgent and will take time.
...............................................
Pence will be a liability not an asset should President Trump decide to run again. He needs to bring on board a recognized “Scrapper” who will immediately go on offense and STAY on offense throughout the campaign. Pense is the exact opposite of the kind of person Trump’s base is looking for.

Me again: I agree. I am not suggesting that Trump has any obligation to put Pence back on the ticket with him should Trump choose to run again. I am only indicating that Trump and Pence need to be allies working toward a common cause, with Pence subordinating his views and interests to Trump’s.

You aren’t making any sense. Pence only has the powers granted to him in the Constitution or by law. Those do not include the power to reject electoral votes or “send it back to the states,” whatever that is supposed to mean, he had no lawful authority to do anything other than what he did.

If Pence had stood up in Congress and purported to reject electoral votes as you believe he should have, he would have been overruled by Congress and ignored, and Biden still would have been inaugurated. But he didn’t, because Pence understood his Constitutional role far better than you do.

States choose who their electors are, not the Vice President. The electors chosen by the states elected Joe Biden. If Trump wanted to prove that any of those electors were appointed through fraudulent elections, then he needed to do so in the courts of each state he disputed according to that state’s laws. If you read his actual court filings, you would know he largely did not even attempt to do so.
