Details from an unpublished Israeli Health Ministry report into the side effects of the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine have raised concerns that there could be a link between the second shot and several dozen cases of myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle, particularly in men under 30, Channel 12 reported Friday.
The concerns come from an intermediate report that was presented to ministry heads and to Pfizer in recent weeks, the TV report said. Excerpts from the leaked report stressed that investigators had not conclusively proved a link, but that they had significant concerns.
“The findings were presented to the Pfizer company who replied that they had not had similar reports in the rest of the world and would examine the data,” an excerpt from the report said, adding that the details had also been sent to the US FDA and CDC, who were also investigating.
The report was authored by senior ministry officials led by Prof. Dror Mevorach, head of one of the COVID-19 units at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem.
“There is specific concern regarding the frequency of the occurrence observed in men under 30 in the days immediately after the second shot,” they wrote. “At this stage, according to initial findings that still need to be verified, there is an impression that the number (of cases) is higher than would be expected, especially for those under 30.”
The report found that of those who received the second dose, 1-in-100,000 had possible side effects of myocarditis; however, this number rose to 1-in-20,000 among those aged 16-30.

I’ve known people who have been diagnosed with Myocardiatis in the past. Usually caused by some virus. And they recovered. So I know it occurs.

They can still spread it if they are vaccinated. This is not disputed by Fauci or the vaccine makers.

I think for younger people. The risk/benefit analysis has been totally warped.
The two shots are the same. But, in some cases, the first shot may be priming the immune system to incorrectly attack the body’s own tissue following the second injection. In theory, this could also occur when a wild infection is encountered. It is not clear yet if this is a case of ADE (Antibody Dependent Enhancement), but it might be. If so, really bad news. Can also affect lung tissue and other organs.

Because the current authorized coronavirus vaccines did not cause ADE in trials does not mean they are incapable of doing so in the right conditions.
It’s possible the spike proteins manufactured by the body in response to the mRNA irritate the hearts of some people. Do you know if this has been compared to heart problems experienced by people who actually had the virus?

And for your benefit, if 100% of population gets vaccinated, the death rate plummets to near zero. If one is vaccinated, can still get infected, that is true. And can also pass it on, that is also true. But it matters little, since vaccinated person is least likely to die from covid.
If mortality rate is near zero, covid-19 has been defeated for all practical purposes.

How close to zero do you think it needs to be? It’s damn close to zero for 50 year olds and below. Staticky it’s zero for 25 and below.

(Somebody is probably going to go spastic because I posted a CDC link, and, I'll grant you, I've myself severely criticized much of CDC's efforts when it comes to COVID-19, but, that page seems rational, balanced, and reasonably well presented.)
In regard to this heart inflammation problem, which may or may not be related to the Pfizer shot itself (it could also be due to something taken for self-treatment of a sore shoulder, for example), well, in the most at risk group the odds of a problem were put at 1-in-20,000. Big whup. The latest air that passed over China and eventually got here is probably a lot more dangerous.

However, people who work and are in contact with other people, herd immunity is the only option to defeat covid-19, and that requires this category of people must be vaccinated.
