Federal indictment expected for Derek Chauvin, 3 other officers charged in George Floyd's death

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - The U.S. Department of Justice is reportedly moving forward with plans to indict former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin and the three other former officers charged in George Floyd’s death on federal civil rights charges, sources told FOX 9.

It has apparently been in the works for months. There was even a plan to arrest Chauvin if the Hennepin County jury found him not guilty.

One legal analyst predicts the charges would put enormous pressure on Thao, Kueng and Lane before their own criminal trial is set to begin in August. All three are charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder and manslaughter.

"It depends on what they charge them with," said Michael Bryant, a local criminal defense attorney. "It’s a civil rights violation, and so if they convict him of that and they’re found guilty of it, there’s a lot more they can do on the federal level." On April 20, the world watched as Judge Peter Cahill read the jury’s verdict in the courtroom, which found him guilty of all three charges—second-degree murder, third-degree murder and manslaughter—in Floyd’s death last Memorial Day.

What the cameras did not capture were federal agents inside the Hennepin County Government Center at the very moment the verdict was read, prepared to arrest Chauvin if the jury failed to convict.

In the end, Chauvin was sent to a solitary confinement unit inside Minnesota’s maximum-security prison in Oak Park Heights, where he is awaiting sentencing.

But given the presence of federal authorities who were not going to allow Chauvin to leave the courthouse complex a free man and intelligence from additional FOX 9 sources, it appears Chauvin’s legal troubles may soon multiply.

Why not dismember him in the public square while we are at it.

DOJ moves fast on the little guy but pokes along on the cases like Comey, Clinton, Hunter and a dozen others. The ground should be level around the Constitution and SCOTUS, but it is, in fact, un-even, bumpy and a bit muddy.

Are these the same courts that say the President of the United States has no standing to contest a stolen election?

I think that every white cop in the country should announce that they will have nothing to do with minorities or minority areas. Let them call a social worker!

The total corruption of our government is becoming very apparent. Those people do not care one bit about our Constitution. They only care about their power and their ability to squash whomever they believe is a threat to their power. A great many people in our gov’t envy the power Communist China holds over their people and they want that power for themselves right here in the USA.
It is now only a matter of time when a TRUE Time for Choosing will be upon us.

This could be Violation of Civil Rights Under Color of Law...Resulting in death.

If a jury agrees that could be a death sentence penalty.

It’s not double jeopardy. Different charges brought in different jurisdictions.

There is apparently a bottomless bucket of money for the children in the government to burn in large bonfires.

They sent 12 agents to seize a laptop in Alaska that they thought was Nanzi's.

They screwed up. Their bad - we pick up the tab.

So can every jurisdiction in the entire country file charges?

No, since his acts were violations of Minnesota statute and (allegedly) Federal law.

Double jeopardy is being tried twice for the same crime. The feds get around this by calling the same crime something different.

To get a job in DC, you need to pass an FBI background check. The FBI makes sure nobody of any integrity move into a position of power. Only people they can control.

In the 90s the Clintons had raw intel files on everyone of note delivered to them. The FBI allowed it. Since then, it’s been an oligarchy. They cover each other and make sure nobody gets too powerfult hey can’t control.

And this is why it took everything they had, including open treason, to curb Trump. He was never supposed to win.

Even Ellison said he did not believe it was racism. How the fvk is the DOJ going to charge the cops with “civil rights” violations? I guess the term is so damn broad that they will just make sh*t up and get another terrorized jury to finally kill the man for Saint Floyd’s sake. So we now have a system where we will destroy anyone we THINK is racist and we KNOW what is inside a persons mind?
