Just a couple of weeks ago, a high profile case, the Cavazos family in Mission Texas (just West of McAllen), lost their two year effort to block the border wall from coming through their property.
Fred Cavazos (in mask) had been something of a poster boy for opposing President Trump's "racist" border wall, but now it is Biden who has seized his land under eminent domain. That property adjoins (on the East) the land where We Build the Wall constructed a segment of privately funded border wall.
The Cavazos keep their riverfront properties and existing structures, except for one small barn. The right of way is now secured for the border wall, and its associated security systems, to run along the existing flood control levee, and close a large gap in the barrier (whenever the Biden pause is lifted).
