PHOENIX — Lisa Shacket said she needed to do it.
Despite the Arizona Democratic Party urging members not to participate in state Senate Republicans' audit of the 2020 presidential vote, Shacket went ahead and volunteered to find out what would happen to her ballot.
She did a two-day stint -- Monday and Tuesday -- as an audit observer at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
"Both days I was there, I left horrified," Shacket, a Phoenix resident, said in an interview Wednesday.
Shacket is an active registered Democrat with a background in community and legislative work.
She signed up as an Arizona audit observer after providing three reference letters.
Her takeaways as a volunteer reflect the larger issues raised in an ongoing lawsuit: The audit has not publicly disclosed its policies and procedures, and might be doing some corner cutting.
"When I got there the first day, I was literally told, 'Talk to the observers and they'll answer your questions,'" she said.
Shacket said she and her fellow observers - they're the ones in the orange T-shirts - received no training in how the audit process was supposed to work.
Observers aren't allowed to talk to the green-clad ballot-counters, so Shacket listened.
"What I heard those table monitors say several times was, 'Speed is more important than accuracy,'" she said.

Ask her to put her statement on a legal affidavit under penalty of perjury.

I was horrified at the trucking in of fraudulent ballots in the middle of the night creating step functions in votes for Biden.
I was horrified when the GOP monitors were kicked out and hidden boxes full of ballots were pulled out from under the tables.
I was horrified when the election for the President of the United States was stolen in broad daylight and certified by Republicans and we were told nothing significant beyond the usual fraud “which is in the noise really” happens in all elections and to shut up and accept we lost.

I like the hamster wheel analogy. I’m interested in this idea. Can you think of some aspects of the audit that could benefit from being secret? I can’t really. Maybe using UV light to look for tampering?

The Deep State and its hand-puppets know that the audit will not look good for the Rats, RINOs, and GOP elite, and so they are starting to plants stories that will question the credibility of the audit results.

Democrats want to know the digital technical means used to detect fraud:
1) to help the dream up arguments that the results are flawed.
2) so they can figure out how to evade detection next time.

Not when the auditors are inspecting ballots. The ballots have no information on them that would allow an individual voter to be identified unless some voter decided to write their name on their ballot. Which is highly unlikely, and would be an example of a voter choosing to disclose how they voted.
In financial audits the target normally is not provided with any knowledge about what will be examined. If you tell somebody in advance "we are going to look at the amount of cash recorded from the store on Main Street for last Friday to see if any is missing" then you can be sure everything will be just peachy when you examine the records.
Instead the auditors just announce "let me look at the cash receipts records for the Main Street store" while they are standing there.
