PHOENIX — Lisa Shacket said she needed to do it.
Despite the Arizona Democratic Party urging members not to participate in state Senate Republicans' audit of the 2020 presidential vote, Shacket went ahead and volunteered to find out what would happen to her ballot.
She did a two-day stint -- Monday and Tuesday -- as an audit observer at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
"Both days I was there, I left horrified," Shacket, a Phoenix resident, said in an interview Wednesday.
Shacket is an active registered Democrat with a background in community and legislative work.
She signed up as an Arizona audit observer after providing three reference letters.
Her takeaways as a volunteer reflect the larger issues raised in an ongoing lawsuit: The audit has not publicly disclosed its policies and procedures, and might be doing some corner cutting.
"When I got there the first day, I was literally told, 'Talk to the observers and they'll answer your questions,'" she said.
Shacket said she and her fellow observers - they're the ones in the orange T-shirts - received no training in how the audit process was supposed to work.
Observers aren't allowed to talk to the green-clad ballot-counters, so Shacket listened.
"What I heard those table monitors say several times was, 'Speed is more important than accuracy,'" she said.

What about Michigan, Pennsylvania, etc, where observers were expelled, and then the building windows covered up?
Justice is dead in America, unless your a Democrat, then you get double, triple, quadruple justice, plus a million dollar book deal for smoking crack and banging underaged prostitutes while recording yourself, and then a teaching gig with college students.

Even with this said, there probably is a need for speed with the 'D'-appointed Judge having a say. At any point, a motion can be approved that halts the proceedings. The smoother the flow while maintaining accuracy, the better for ALL OF US!
Regarding the “speed over accuracy” issue, this is a complaint that would be leveed by someone that was afraid they would miss invalid ballots. After all, anything pulled out as invalid will be further scrutinized to ensure it is, in fact invalid.
i.e. I think this is B.S. And if it is all they got, this is good.
Again, “speed vs accuracy” is a complaint that would be made by someone who wanted to find all invalid ballots, which is not what a democrat would be interested in here.
Sound like they need audit-observer-observers there....just to watch fake observers.
Democrats are easily horrified anyway, at the least possibility that some perhaps highly significant or even vast widespread fraud may be uncovered. And they know they are the prime suspects.

They want everyone to believe the counting that takes longer than the original count is more rushed and less accurate.
This is meant to convince CNN viewing and NPR listening morons that it can’t be trusted.

Ah, how about ten with live recording cameras on each counter, with severe penalties for those who attempt to subvert the process. Three can be subverted much easier than 2-3 times that number. And who selects the counters? Another RAT subversive? Not reason this can’t be done on live TV.
If a Democrat activist is ‘horrified’ by what she saw at the audit, this gives me a bit of hope.

Fulton County (Atlanta) GA, a major plumbing emergency had the County Supervisor (D) announce a stop, cleared the observers from the building pending a restart in the morning after the repairs.
While someone 'plunged' the stopped-up toilet, the counting continued without observers and Biden votes suddenly moved ahead! Come morning, no one took responsibility but the smell had nothing to do with the toilet!
It’s completely transparent. 9 wide view cameras focusing on different areas. Observers on the floor looking over shoulders of 3 auditors per table.
What is not seen or widely acknowledged are overhead cameras at each table recording every procedure in detail which could be accessed if needed. These overhead views would disclose voter info, which is why they’re not available on the website for public consumption.
The 12News reporter is a Chuck Toad wannabe, imho. His Sunday morning show follows Toad’s.
This is all about setting the narrative that
When the fraud is shown that the audit was flawed and bad.
Those are words describing a mole planted into the system so NBC can invent a scoop
AND probably caught on digital camera feed as well, in briefings and all.
Let’s see what they find. Would like to see enough votes thrown out to flip the state. Or the amount of illegal ballots. Or problems with the machines. Even though it’s not going to change much it would let people see the amount of fraud.
