The effort by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo’s office to obscure the pandemic death toll in New York nursing homes was far greater than previously known, with aides repeatedly overruling state health officials over a span of at least five months, according to interviews and newly unearthed documents.
Mr. Cuomo’s most senior aides engaged in a sustained effort to prevent the state’s own health officials, including the commissioner, Howard Zucker, from releasing the true death toll to the public or sharing it with state lawmakers, these interviews and documents showed.
A scientific paper, which incorporated the data, was never published. An audit of the numbers by a top Cuomo aide was finished months before it became publicly known. Two letters, drafted by the Health Department and meant for state legislators, were never sent.
The actions coincided with the period in which Mr. Cuomo was pitching and then writing a book on the pandemic, with the assistance of his top aide, Melissa DeRosa, and others.

Start the ball rolling by prosecuting the political aides trying to hide public information since the information could have saved lives. This could be a felony on there part. That’s at least 2 to 5 years in the pen.

OK the precedent has been set. It's now perfectly acceptable to harass and intimidate presidents after they are out of office! I can't wait until President Rutabaga dies and we go after Hunter! But then again he may commit arkancide.
Murder requires intent to cause death, which can be difficult to prove. Prosecute him for criminally negligent homicide. That’s a slam dunk. One count for every death in a nursing home that was forced to accept known-infected patients by Cuomo.
Let him spend the rest of his life in prison. Then go after the others who did the same thing, starting with Newsom.
Andrew Cuomo is implicated in mass murder, and conspiracy to obstruct justice, by covering up any and all evidence. His own staff is now giving evidence against him, and NY Democrats have called for his resignation. But this is missed by the New York DA and the FBI.
And now, we find out that the DA of Southern NY district is ignoring that, and attempting to fabricate some sort of case, based on laws that Biden has clearly violated, via Hunter.
This is obscene.
Giuliani of course is the target. Has been for more than a year. Truth tellers get this kind of treatment under Beijing Biden.

Said it months ago and I’ll say it again, my opinion of Democrats is so low that I fully expect some NY politician to be crowing about some budget surplus, not admitting it was from medical cost saved when these elderly died.

What authority permits state health officials to conceal homicide?
I never did find out if the homes were state supported but looked into it some. Premeditated murder if I'm right.
Who were they hiding it from? The New York Times?
Everyone else new about it.
