I have never had the slightest bit of respect for the dandified French. They could not defend themselves during either World War. Read a little bit about the Battle of Verdun and the fighting in the tunnels under Fort Vaux before you go around slamming the French in WW1. Poorly led, yes, but individually the French fought as hard and suffered as much or more than any other army in that war.

We saved them 2 times in the last century.
Don’t think we are capable of doing it again.
Or that we should if we were.
Some in the EU committed an Act of War against the USA on November 3-4, 2020. It was Pearl Harbor II. With the aid of people at the top or near the top in almost all Federal Agencies, acting in coordination for a year in a coup attempt before the attack.
But nobody in DC will admit to what happened.

There are no excuses for allowing this to happen.
But it is like the police officer who was found guilty on all charges by a jury recently, because the jurors were afraid of what would happen to them if they did not convict.
