One of the most perplexing things happening in this country has to be how millions of people who hated Donald J. Trump with every fiber of their being trusts him on this one thing: the vaccine! I mean, it may make sense if the vaccinated population were selling their soul to the devil (according to Trump haters) to defeat death itself. But they aren’t.
This author has been a nurse over 40 years and have never seen such blind faith or exuberance in experimenting with a serum/vaccine. I suppose in the 1980s if President Reagan had suddenly announced that a vaccine for AIDS had been developed in warp speed our society might have seen some semblance of today’s blind acceptance. I suppose the perfectly healthy that had little if no chance of contracting the AIDS virus would blindly inject a miracle serum into their God given body if they were told by the government, media, and scientists they must do this for society’s sake. But, without the internet, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the like the results would not be quite the same.
Our society has entered a very slippery slope creating classes of Vaccinated Population (VP) versus Unvaccinated Population (UVP). For example, consider this text below sent to a woman from her mother. This UVP woman had booked a flight cross country to visit her family. This text clearly had the intent of shaming the UVP daughter. The words get to the heart of the dilemma that faces our society today between the VPs and UVPs. This is the text in part:

The vaccine is simply another tool being used to turn Americans against each other.
Deep State is getting us to play a game of lets-you-and-him-fight.
A divided citizenry that sees fellow citizens as the enemy is far less a threat to Deep State.
People I do not trust demanding I do something.
It’s worse than that.
They’re encouraging us, enabling us, rewarding us for turning on one another.
And many of us are complying.

meanwhile our country is being taken over by communists while everyone who should be concerned about it are too preoccupied to notice or care...

Nameless, faceless, unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats that I don’t trust demand I give up my God given and Constitutional right to self-determination because of virus with a 98.7% survival rate.
It’s not a vaccine to begin with and what other people think is irrelevant.

I just watched a panel of dr’s who were talking about this. One of the points they all agreed with was that words have meaning. We should stop calling it a vaccine, because it is NOT a vaccine. It is an experimental injection. I think we should politely correct anybody who calls this a vaccine, because then that starts to conflate this experiment, with known vaccines, and lumps them all together on purpose.
Also, I think the term vaccine is meant to condition us to believe it is not very harmful.
If the vaccines were a virus, given the people these have harmed, there would be a vaccine for it.
This vaccines is under emergency approval. In spite of extensive testing, it really is a rush job, so to speak. So we’re basically doing a giant beta test related to the Frankenvirus.
So NO VACCINE SHAMING!!!

Neither side is the enemy. If you want the vaccine get it. if you don’t want it don’t get it. it stop the breathless hysterical false information. and let people make their own decisions

98.7% survival rate, as in emerging from it alive. That, however, doesn’t account for those who are left with extended, possibly permanent alterations to their health from the effects of COVID.
I had to take the vaccine so I could travel this summer for personal and medical reasons. It wasn’t voluntary. My liberal wife became a shamer, took the J&J vaccine and now is nervous as heck. My liberal daughter said that in order for us to see her we would need to take the vaccine. My conservative son said no thank you and will wait until all of this shakes itself out. He also has a medical issue and the doctor told him to hold off.
I have read every word of this article twice. This is an opinion piece hiding behind a credential that really isn’t all that relevant (40 year nurse). There is not a shrewd of data. There is not a relevant discussion outside id a text message and so called shaming based on a text message.
The author is attempting to create and use official sounding words UVP and VP to lend some gravitas to an opinion piece.
I find it curious that she uses shaming. She is attempting to stop a discussion she doesn’t like (could it be that she lacks a rational answer for the vaccine argument?). Generally speaking shaming only brings a response when there is some thing in which to be ashamed. Otherwise the normal response is to roll ones eyes and walk away. In other words. If I am comfortable with a decision no amount of shame will me me feel shame in my decision.
This is a case where by protesting too much she reveals an inability to provide a rational answer and instead argues emotion. They are in both sides no doubt but this does nothing to advance her position accept within the echo chamber of those who share her opinion.
