The recall still qualifies though. Every signature Newsom’s people reject is a likely vote for his recall.
“California Has Rejected 19.8% of Signatures in Gavin Newsom Recall Effort”
Well that was because they didn’t require ID to sign the petition. Has nothing to do with the 2020 election.
They scrutinize recall petitions more closely than actual election ballots, OK, I got it.
The Democrats next move will be to identify the people who signed the recall petition and send some SEIU thugs wearing purple shirts to pay a visit. “You wants to remove yo name from that petition, donchu.”
[snip] The poll found that just 46 percent of California voters approve of Newsom’s job performance — a sharp decline from the two-thirds who backed him in a September IGS poll. [/snip]
Who didn’t know that was coming?
I’m surprised that isn’t the approval percent the way things
are going in California these days.
If only they worked as hard to eliminate fraudulent ballots.
I wonder how many are just flat out faked by the paid gatherers? Each signature is worth $3.50 I think.
I was wondering that myself. I don’t know but I’m assuming there’s got to be some mechanism for the proponent to learn that a given gatherer has a higher rejection rate and reduce compensation accordingly
You humor is dry like the desert.
Fraudafornia winks.
Given their “experience” in the 2020 election,I’d be shocked if DEMOCRATS wouldn’t recognize ILLEGAL NAMES on a recall petition.
I think you’re right... I think gatherers need to sign the petition somewhere. I remember reading somewhere that the recall effort was going to go for like 120-150% of required signatures to surpass likely fakes. Good on them for that.
“right and biden gets 100% of his counted. what a travesty.”
120% of his counted vote.
Newsom and the state legislature have ensured the recall will be mail-in only.
I don’t think he’s too worried about the recall.
no kidding!
Why do the petitioners need to sign anyway? Isn’t that racist? Not everyone knows how to sign due to systemic racism. And even people who know how to sign won’t be able to sign because they don’t know where to go to sign, due to systemic racism. And even if they know how to sign and where to go, they can’t because racism, due to systemic racism.
