It doesn’t matter. The indoctrinated are scared. Scared of the virus, and scared that the planet is becoming unlivable, and it’s humans to blame. We’ve seen over and over, if you scare the public, you can get them to do almost anything.
The public will gladly buy into the climate change hysteria. The public gets to feel virtuous for combating the “existential threat”.
Carbon dioxide is less than 1/20th of 1% of the atmosphere. It has about 1/1000 the heat capacity of water and I do not even know the ratio of its mass to the ocean or even water in the atmosphere which absorbs approximately the same spectrum of infrared. It does not hinder convection over the tropical oceans nor transport of heat absorbed in the oceans to the poles

Isn’t Carbon Dioxide kind of important for photosynthesis? I thought most green plants needed it, and in turn they give off oxygen.

CO2 is NOT a dangerous pollutant, it is a necessary ingredient for plant life.

We may soon be hit with global cooling, and we will have nothing to do with the cause. We are about to go into a big solar minimum. But still the left will find some “reason “ to blame it on humans.

CO2 never was a pollutant & still isn’t. Even if it was(it’s NOT)how would developing nations ever meet the standard? Are they supposed to just automatically have all the so-called “green energy” sources that are needed to develop? Why do you suppose they are called “developing nations”? The U.S. didn’t just suddenly overnight come up with lower emissions than other nations, did it? There are certain harmful emissions that we can possibly keep to a minimum & then there are some of those that are harmful but are naturally created by volcanoes, etc. Nothing we can do about that. No matter what else happens, CO2 is not & never has been a harmful emission.
In the short run. But in the long run we are currently in an ice age due to the configuration of the continents. The warm periods in earth's history did not have the antarctic and greenland acting as refrigerators creating cold bottom water. The result is an average ocean tempeature of about 37F.
We should be thankful that it is not.
