Michigan State Police released bodycam video on Sunday showing a Democratic state representative touting his relationship with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer during a drunk driving arrest.
In addition to driving under the influence, state Rep. Jewell Jones was also reportedly charged with resisting arrest and weapons possession.
During his tussle with officers, Jones can be heard threatening to call the Democratic governor. He also refused to present his ID when asked.
"I don’t give a f--- bro, when I call Gretchen [Whitmer] I'll need y'all ID’s badge numbers everything," Jones says in the footage. "It's not going to be good for you, I'm telling you. I run y'alls budget, bro.”
A lawyer for Jones told NBC News his client “was not threatening the officers in any way."
"Anything he said regarding budgets and the governor was an attempt to stop them from using excessive force," lawyer Ali Hammoud said.

Well, of course!
Some people should never drink.
Squish him like a bug. We got him. It’s not like the vote cheating charges elsewhere helped us. We’re getting drip, drip, drip responses in our voting concerns. This one is cut and dry. Chappaquiddik was much worse and what was the result? This guy is small potatoes. When he cry racism we should respond by having a little fun with him.
How of the Budget did that guy drink or stuff up his nose that day ? LOL
Some people should never drink.

Especially this guy. This has happened some 10 times to him.

2 can play this game.
Maybe he was planning to give himself a beat down.
He should be sentenced to life for criminal stupidity
Probably quite a bit as his BAC was 0.19
Haven't you heard? BAC tests are notorious for abnormally high BA levels for Blacks. If he were a white guy, his reading would've been 0.065, tops.
Off, OFF, damned sarcasm!
Not even a faux-pology from him so far.
“Sorry, not sorry.”
Wasn’t it reported earlier that the drunk Rep.had a woman passenger with him and when finally stopped both had their pants down?
Valuable Jewell call Wretched Hitler. Michigan Medusa will shine your gemstone for you.
Dem’rats in Michigan are EVIL.
The officers will get reprimands......the dude will get a medal. Isn’t that the way it works now? When are blacks going to wake up and realize the left are using them as political tools because they think (and sometimes rightfully so) they are dumb enough to act out for them? Proof positive is the Demonrats keep getting re-elected time after time, after time and NOTHING changes in these ghettos or communities! Talk about the dumbing down of America.......good grief! As an aside, a few years ago one of our minority legislators was stopped for speeding between I guess Houston and Austin and the officer or the pol had a recording. This butt wipe actually tried to say this officer was out of line and wanted something done.....the old “’cause I’m black” routine. I’ve never seen an officer with such respect and self control. I don’t know how he did it. Guess what? He’s still in office. I rest my case about blacks being used for nothing but votes or the likes of him and Al Greene, Shreeker Jackass Sleeze would be put out to pasture. Houston is a crap hole...
Of course that isn't a threat.
It is simply a case of another dirtbag government Leftist grifter saying:
"Don't you know who I am?
As we can see from the photo, Jones is a privileged member of America’s #1 certified victim group and is entitled to specific perks that ordinary humans don’t get.
Additional charges should be added: resisting arrest, interfering with a police officer’s discharge of duties.
Here’s the call transcript: (Ringing); Governor Whitmer is unavailable for a few weeks while she chills in Florida. Have a nice day, and don’t elfin’ travel anywhere.
Nice even a kerryesque “I’m sorry the officer placed himself in a position that could end his career.”
Blacks can no longer be arrested for drunk driving , reason? Because they are black
