In his lengthy address to the country on April 21, after numerous fatuous promises of enhanced social welfare programs, environmental protections, support for education, and the like — promises meant to divert attention from the genuine grievances behind the countrywide protests planned for that day — Putin proceeded to warn "organizers of provocations against the Russian Federation" against "crossing the red line in relation to Russia." As he continued, it became clear that the United States is included in these warnings, especially considering that the expulsion of ten American diplomats was to take place that same day. Putin appears to see the U.S. behind today's nationwide protest marches. He is also clearly incensed by Biden's unrelenting diatribes against Russia.
Prior to Tuesday, Ambassador John Sullivan had given a statement that he would return to the United States this week to discuss U.S.-Russian ties with members of President Joe Biden's administration, suggesting that he followed the example of Anatoly Antonov, recalled last month, who had not yet returned to Washington. Now that Putin has expelled the ten American diplomats, however, despite being "advised" by the Kremlin to leave Russia, Sullivan is digging in his heels. He says he will not be leaving any time soon. "Putin will have to force me out."
Meanwhile, Putin is linking the current aggressive actions of the United States against Russia to the activities of Navalny's Anti-Corruption Foundation. Putin insists that this foundation and its activities are somehow being steered by the United States. His "proof": a Russian expat living in Florida says he donated $50 to an opposition politician seeking to run for a Moscow city council seat. Putin's regime has used this fact to establish Navalny's foundation as an "organization performing the functions of a foreign agent in Russia,"

Fatuous promises. We got the same thing from the goof squatting in our house.
These commies are too busy stealing to go to war. The enemy knows they don’t have to confront us. Just wait us out.
Better question: If there was a war with Russia, whose side would you fight for?
Does Biden want Gerber peaches or green Jello is the more important question.

In physics each action has a reaction. This is true in social circumstances as well. The sudden dearth of government protection will have wide ranging and serious effects. Possibly there will be private police companies as existed in New York before the city seized all the police companies and took them into the city governance structure. (There were police riots between competing companies rather like gang wars, for control and tax authority in various neighborhoods. No kidding.)
So, what will be the result of the total failure of governments gone woke to protect the taxpayers? It may be better in some areas as they form new governance structures and the old structures die. (Oh, will there ever be a fight over pensions as those jobs will likely disappear.) Another result may be substantially better and cheaper governance as government structures have grown bloated in the last two centuries*.
* I was talking to my workout buddy, a state of Florida employee. We both remembered the introduction of PC’s. I was at Honeywell and he was in state government. Honeywell had laid off the entire typing pool...hundreds of typists...within a month. The state allowed them to sit at their typewriters reading books, doing knitting and otherwise entertaining themselves. Some found other jobs in the state. Some eventually left. Others were allowed to eventually retire from their now non-jobs. As for efficiency, every time I have to wait any length of time in any government office it’s obvious that most of the employees are not very stressed as far as work goes. I see plenty of conversations and non-work stuff. It’s different at every company I ever worked for. Heads are generally down and work is being accomplished. That’s because every person there is working on a charge number that has a job attached to it. If the job isn’t being done then they get fired. My workout buddy isn’t paid much, but then he’s read every popular author’s book while sitting at his desk. His retirement package will be worth well over a million dollars. Unfortunately, he won’t have any books to read as he’ll have read them all by then.
Great question and I don’t know the answer.
