Authorities in Virginia have released disturbing body camera video of a deputy shooting a Black man who was holding a cordless phone and who had just received a ride home by the same law enforcement officer.
Isaiah Brown, 32, survived more than six rounds fired at him Wednesday and was in a hospital "fighting for his life," said a spokesman....

The man called 911 again after he was dropped off and said he was going to kill his brother. It is easier to see a phone as a gun in those circumstances, in the dark.
I couldn’t see anything in the video and I don’t get cops shooting someone holding a gun to his own head as the cop thought, but if the man was advancing on him, that’s a different story.

I hope that folks get the meaning of your post. I do. But for those who aren’t sure:I recall that. It was extraordinarily disturbing. I don't think the cop was even charged in that instance.
