How to Starve Big Tech
American Thinker.com ^ | April 25, 2021 | Jim Daws

It’s not an exaggeration to say that if America remains on her current trajectory, she will be unrecognizable in another generation. Lady Liberty will be replaced by a snarling leftist with a blue crew-cut.

We’ve arrived at a tipping point where the foundational beliefs that made our way of life possible are under relentless siege by a radical, Marxist ideology that holds our values, traditions and culture in utter contempt. Today, the institutions of family, church, education, free enterprise, and self-government are mere remnants of their former glory. The Left’s long march through our institutions is nearing its dystopian destination, which we are treated to on these pages daily.

The acceleration of these trends are the result of the Left’s consolidation over our news and entertainment media, combined with the censorship of dissenting voices on social media. Big Tech is wholly owned by the Left and they’re using that power -- unprecedented in human history -- to muzzle any effective opposition.

The sad part is that Big Tech’s control over the free flow information is almost entirely illusory and based wholly on our submission to it. Much in the same manner that consumers become zealously brand-conscious, we have come to accept that Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube have some innate value that makes them indispensable. We forget that Big Tech’s dominance has come about in just one generation and we can track a direct trajectory between the rise of Big Tech and the radical Left’s ascendancy.

And yet I am using an Apple smartphone to read this editorial. The news networks are propaganda outlets for the Democrats. That is a fact. And yet my Apple Smartphone is allowing me to type my comments into the Free Republic comments section.

I put this out a year ago. This article basically confirms it.

###

GAB (Dissenter) and Brave browsers,

Rumble and bitchute video,

Signal for voice and messaging,

Epoch times for news,

Fastmail and ProtonMail for email,

Duckduckgo and dogpile for search,

And use a paid VPN like private internet access.

Leave the phone at home and pay cash as much as possible.

As long as big tech is part of the cabal there is no way.

And my iPhone can access Google translate with which I can read the news in other languages so that I can catch up on all the news we are missing due to having our airwaves marinated in propaganda and bs. Maybe its not so simple as starving tech. Maybe its a globalism problem and we are living through the mother of all internet cons, some catfishing scheme about a Nigerian prince, I think.

How much CO2 is emitted to fuel the operations of Google, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Amazon, , NSA (sorry ... redundant with rest of list), etc.? Start by cutting that to zero.

And don’t forget No Agenda Phone (linux alternative). There’s also crypto based dectentralized VPN alternatives like Orchid.

Slowly there are becoming options for people who want to be “woke” against big tech.

The Chinese are determined to take over the mobile phone business.

And the Prince is having problems because he can’t figure out which bathroom to use because they all require you to wear a mask, and masks give you autism as well as making men’s penises fall off.

These companies and their shareholders will learn that voter bribery is expensive, very expensive.

“The news networks are propaganda outlets for the Democrats. That is a fact.”

I usually flip off the 6:30PM news by 6:35PM and now make no effort to be home before 6:30PM.

Were the National Beobachter and Pravda as annoying?

Furthermore the bathrooms are all labeled with a little person in pants and another little person in a dress, together on one sign, sort of like a wedding cake topper, which is another can of worms... Its a very confusing time for our friend the Prince, and time is running out for his bladder, he needs money now to pay the fine for pooping on the street due to the lack of sensible bathrooms

They just haven’t gotten to Freerepublic yet, because we’re not a big player, and thus don’t see us as a threat... yet And we’re posting anonymously. How many of us would post under our real names?

We are watching How Food Made America, it is a great example of the influence of a product, the advent of TV commercials had on making a particular food the most popular.

Same goes for Big Pharma, Crestor became # 1 because of a Multi-million ad campaign, Not that the older Pravachol-Pravastatin isn’t as good, works as well, had less side effects, many times cheaper.

It’s not so much “Big Tech” as it is the social media. Just impose a big tax on advertising and the problem is solved.
