PRESIDENT Joe Biden's climate plan to cut greenhouse emissions by 50 to 52 percent by 2030 could come with significant changes to Americans' daily routines....Americans should only consume about four pounds of red meat per year, or about 0.18 ounces daily, which is about a burger a month.

Human during the Spanish colonial era in Latin America was referred to as long pork. Any cooking method suitable for hogs is also just dandy for human. 225 low and slow over pecan or hickory for 18 hours will turn out some fine BBQ take that to the bank.
The good news is that even if human stopped burning every source of carbon dioxide to include wood or grasses or doing the level of CO2 in the air would stay above 150ppm for thousands of years. The oceans and the bicarbonate balance with the atmosphere would keep the levels above 150 ppm or higher until the levels of bicarbonate precipitating out as carbonates via calcarous ooze or corals shifts the bicarb equilibrium state. 150ppm is important that’s the level that below it C4 grasses die off. Nearly all of the human food chain is C4 grasses. Rice, wheat, corn, oats, barley, rye, sorghum all are C4 grasses.
Those fools actually are embracing active removal of CO2:

Give me billions to research the “new” process that I have to remove it! FTM.
They lie to control the populace.
Here’s a thought:
Everyone is assuming that they mean that “we” will have to cut our consumption by 90%.
What if they REALLY mean that there will be 90% less consumers?
I thought for a second there, when I read Biden's climate goals, that I would have to starve to death to save the planet!
Seriously, I don't understand how people smart enough to be the leaders of the country, can be so arrogant and dumb at the same time. But I guess history is replete with them.
I mean listening to Biden is like listening to my 3 year old granddaughter in her speech patterns and thought processes as she is just learning to express herself and comprehend ideas.
When John Kerry, Biden's special envoy for climate change (whatever the hale that means), opens his mouth at the Earth Day climate summit and says that we need to eliminate 100% of all CO2 from the atmosphere, we might as well be listening to that idiot savant, Greta Von Stupid Thunberg for advice on nuclear fusion.
I don't think there have been any leaders in my lifetime as stupid as Biden and Kerry. Carter was bad as president but at least he was intelligent. These two score off the charts in being plain old dumb.
He says eliminate all emissions. There are three problems with that claim. 1) we can't eliminate all emissions because we would freeze in the dark, be stuck at home, etc because even electric cars have emissions. 2) the rest of the world go on emitting so our "sacrafice" will be in vain. 3) it's not true, he's not proposing drawing down CO2 (eliminating CO2 from the atmosphere), just going neutral.
Humanity is not going to eliminate ALL CO2 from our atmosphere. Not even SOME CO2. For the next 100 years or so humanity is not going to eliminate ANY CO2 from our atmosphere. Why? Humanity needs fossil, simple as that. That's why there are 1000 coal plants being built right now, in Africa, south Asia, in China and India. More outside of China than inside, although the Chinese are building a lot of the plant outside of China.
According to my calculations if humanity got to the point of lowering emissions by about 33% from current levels, atmospheric CO2 would stop rising. For comparison during the pandemic last year we managed to lower emissions by about 8%. Didn't have any effect on the atmosphere where CO2 kept rising.
Considering the rise in agricultural productivity from higher CO2, and the fact that the CO2 prevents the mile thick glaciers from covering Chicago, the CO2 than mankind has created is a very good thing. Mankind survived the full glacial period 20,000 years ago, but just barely. It is indeed insance to demonize CO2.
Even though you got a little too far into the long weeds in your explanation to me, I get what you are saying.
I never argue specifics with the climate change cult people because they are usually just spouting babble speak. But mainly I also know the issue with climate change is not about climate change or saving the planet.
In this case, as with most of the democRATS' and the Left's arguments, the real issue is not climate change but their beloved socialist revolution. Climate change is just a ruse to provide them with cover for their real goal, which is economic system change from capitalism to socialism.
But my biggest take away from your information is that John Kerry has got to be the biggest idiot, outside of Fauci, employed by the federal government.
I ALWAYS argue with them. For example when they spout their weather catastrophe nonsense, I ask them why the drop in strong tornadoes is a catastrophe: https://notalotofpeopleknowthat.wordpress.com/2019/01/01/2018-is-the-first-year-with-no-violent-tornadoes-in-the-united-states/ If they challenge you be sure to give them the link to the Washington Post.
Or I point out that carbon dioxide was at starvation levels before mankind came along to save the world https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9507562/ Or I show that the most expensive hurricane of all time was in Miami 1926: http://www.icatdamageestimator.com/toptendamages Yes, Katrina was expensive, but it's number 3. Along the same lines the cost of all weather events including fire (which is not always weather) is dropping: https://notalotofpeopleknowthat.wordpress.com/2019/11/02/cost-of-disasters-is-falling-roger-pielke-jr/
Is he telling us to eat more chicken?.
Little Svenska orc.
Besides, I'm too old to argue. I would rather work my cows and repair the fences on my cattle farm.
Life is much more pleasant without them clogging up the drain.
Meanwhile, govt employees/retirees eat steak! Being a party member is always important in communist society.
