As authorities investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol continue to pore over images and video of the riot, they've encountered a distressing trend: A growing number of alleged perpetrators had previously served their country.
At least 52 active or retired military, law enforcement, or government service employees are among the over 400 suspects arrested for their alleged actions at the Capitol, according to an ABC News investigation based on military records, court records, interviews, and publicly available news reports. The arrests include over half a dozen ex-police officers and multiple former elected officials -- and represent some of the most significant and violent charges brought in connection with the deadly insurrection.

No shock that older persons who took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United State from all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC are being attacked and demonized. Why, I hear that they are even being attacked for believing in the Declaration of Independence. There is no doubt that the Constitution is now under relentless attack from within our government.
Tragically, today, in the decadent phase of Western Civilisation, the value of liberty has been lost to many people. So has the value of truth, justice, and honest government.

The main domestic enemies I see are those who attempted to interfere in the election process as outlined by our great Constitution. Regardless if you're antifa or one of the misguided Trump supporters storming the Capitol on January 6, if you use violence because the election doesn't go your way you're part of the problem.
Before Deng Xiaoping and Li Peng decided to run over the protestors in Tiananmen Square, the story goes they did not have the support of the Beijing military garrison, so needed time to organize support from other generals, and bring units from much farther away.
If you arrange a coup and find many military do not support you, its a huge concern. The actions you must take are to 1) coalesce support and push forward those who DO support you, and 2) absolutely demonize and prosecute those who do not

When you put red and black ants in a jar they seem relatively peaceful, but when you shake the jar and pour them out they fight until they are all dead. Both sides think the other side is at fault when, in fact, the person that shook the jar is at fault.
Riots, looting, etc, are the ants attacking each other.

Are they pouring over photos and videos of portland, Kenosha, Ferguson riots to arrest everyone they can? Nope. But attack the hand and they will pull out all the stops.
