VDH is exactly right. Our situation is indeed very similar to pre-1917 Russia in that much of the upper-middle and upper class elite supports and excuses radicalism, anarchy and lawlessness. Much of the Russian elite rejected tsarism, the tsarist police and Russia’s feudal past as irredeemably backward, evil and deserving of annihilation just as our elite reject American history and institutions as irredeemably racist, evil and deserving of annihilation. This ain’t gonna end well.
Don’t disarm like the White Russians did.
