:-) I’m a fossil too. I was 25 when we divorced. My dad lectured me about staying with him because he said I was too old to find anybody else. I finally told him what happened to cause it and he couldn’t wrap his head around it. It finally sank in and he stopped harassing me about the divorce.
I’m a strong person though. The only time I almost got violent was when my ex-MIL said “he wasn’t like that until he met you”. I almost decked her. Friends were trying to tell me but I wouldn’t believe them. Back then it was something that was taboo.
The main thing it did to me was make me very intolerant of that lifestyle and the people that choose it. They are immoral beyond anything most normal people can even imagine. I have seen the truth and I have seen what they are really like. It ain’t pretty.
