I don’t know if Free Republic is considered Social Media, but, if so, they have a career monitoring mine.

No.
Because USPS has no expertise in monitoring social media, THEY CLEARLY RELY ON BIG TECH FOR TIPS.

Odd how sometimes I get no mail and then a flood of it the next day. Guess they were busy checking it over or something.

ALL government has been coopted to destroy conservatism.
.
.
Imagine what the government has become where patriots (people who want to stand behind the country and it’s constitution) are considered a threat and terrorists?

I wonder if Bill OReilly still thinks FR is a far right-wing group, as he put it.
I would say we are average Americans who Love and Care about our Coumtry.

what is “above board”???
what does it matter what people post online as long as it’s not a threat and just an opinion.
You seem to be saying all this spying on people’s online activity and targeting one side of the political spectrum is okay if they are “crazy”
To: Lurkinanloomin
[No wonder they don’t have time to deliver the mail on time.]
Indeed.

[quietly running a program that tracks and collects Americans’ social media posts]
While I definitely don't want folks planning their insurrection and violence (Marxist Antifa and BLM, for example) it's getting like:
You've had a bit too much to think!
And yet people think Daniel 7:23 won't happen and the Mark of the Beast will eventually come. These things are exactly where the world is headed.

No, I’m just saying FR has some pretty strict rules to keep people civil and it seems almost everyone follows the rules here. Trolls get zotted.
I’ve been on some other “progressive” forums (which shall remain unnamed) to see how the other side thinks, where it’s just out of control. Mainly 4 letter words and profanities all over the place, and total ranting and raving.
To: RatRipper
Would that surveillance include FR???Every person who posts regularly to FR is monitored. You can bet on it.

This allows Google to profile you and select which ads to show you.Since most FReepers are anonymous, how does Google know which "you" to target?
I have seen the code you reference and wish it was removed. FR should have NOTHING to do with Google.

Oh great! Guess they’ll be raising the price of postage to fund the program. lol

They profile your machine by looking at your browser version, OS version, resolution, cookies and etc. If log into youtube or Gmail they can cross reference your account to Free Republic or other sites you use.
Facebook is another one to watch out for.

Postal Service, social media?
I was expecting something like they are making copies of all tweets by post card. :D
