This wasn’t really a trial. The jury was simply selected to represent a cross section of the community in order to show an appearance of unity. A not guilty verdict was never even considered.
There are six “brown” people on the jury and there is no way in hell, this soon, that they found him not guilty.
I am guessing this is bad for Chauvin.

Riots start in 3, 2, 1 no matter what the verdict. Should be put down immediately but will not be. We will also here about the peaceful protests as the building are looted and burned. FBI will be absent because they are to busy going after guys like us and protecting the evil doers.
Sure doesn’t seem like they deliberated very long. Judge should order them back but he won’t.
Defense appeal is probably already being written seeking a mistrial.
Hopefully the judge tosses this due to Mad Max.
There will be riots either way.

only 2 white males...none over 40

Yeah. Generally, a quick verdict doesn’t bode well for a defendant in a criminal trial. I think they’ll nail him on at least the third-degree murder charge.
He’ll have grounds for an appeal, no matter what. But, the question is if an appeal will be granted.
You learn fast!
My bet: Either 3rd degree murder or second degree manslaughter.
