The White House on Monday appeared to distance itself from House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters for telling racial justice protesters to “get more confrontational” if Derek Chauvin is acquitted in George Floyd’s murder trial.
President Biden believes “protests must be peaceful,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said when asked about the comments by Waters (D-Calif.).
“Well I can speak to the president’s view, he has been very clear that he recognizes the issue of police violence against people of color, communities of color is one of great anguish and it’s exhausting and quite emotional at times,” Psaki began.

What she did was criminal and she should be arrested and tried. She should be thrown out of congress. ...but Democrats don’t get arrested or tried do they?

If found guilty, Chauvin will appeal and the judge of the current case suggested that it may very likely be that Waters’ inciting violence could be strong grounds for the appeals court to overturn the convictions.
she claimed the last time she didn’t mean they should riot- but that is pure nonsense- IF she really didn’t mean it, she would be out there among them demanding that they PEACEFULLY protest, RESPECT other people’s property, and RESPECT other people’s points of views and not get into fights, not burn down buildings, not attack people they don’t like etc etc-
She is NOT serious about stopping riots- she is however serious about inciting them and about intimidating the jurors
Maxine is off her meds and/or channeling her inner savage again.
But didn’t condemn the comments.

Why do we continue to lump Detroit in with these riots? I know it’s fashionable, but Chief Craig in Detroit put the hammer down early and did not allow things to escalate during any of this. Detroit has its problems, but so far, this hasn’t been one of them. Chief Craig is also pro gun, encourages law abiding citizens to protect themselves.
