There is far less covid in Florida than in Michigan. If anything, people from Michigan should be pushing the level of infection up in Florida.
The answer is vitamin D . People in Florida are far less likely to be D deficient than Michigan. After a long, cold winter people in Michigan are probably very deficient in vitamin D unless they tan or take supplements.
