Anybody who’s taking Dr. Anthony Fauci seriously probably needs to stop doing so. He endlessly moves the goalposts to maintain his unlimited power over the American people, something Democrats support. That’s why, on Thursday, during House testimony, Rep. Maxine Watters (who is a low-rent harridan) tried to shut down Rep. Jim Jordan’s efforts to get Fauci to say when enough Americans will be vaccinated so that COVID restrictions can end.
The past year has shown that Fauci either has no idea what he’s talking about or is trying to advance an agenda that invariably has to do with maintaining the 2020 status quo of lockdowns, isolation, and masks.
In February 2020, Fauci scoffed at masks. By April, Fauci was urging people to wear masks. He later explained that he was earlier covering for a perceived shortage of masks and then got panicked learning people had asymptomatic COVID. By February 2021, as vaccines were rolling out and cases were dropping, Fauci announced that people should start wearing double masks.
Fauci also gave constantly shifting information about herd immunity. In December, a physician described that roller coaster:
Late last week, Fauci told the New York Times that new science had changed his thinking on the herd immunity threshold -- but he also admitted that his statements were influenced in part by “his gut feeling that the country is finally ready to hear what he really thinks.”
Specifically, the fraction of people who would need immunity to SARS-CoV-2 (either through vaccination or recovery from prior infection) to extinguish the spread of the virus was initially estimated to be 60% to 70%. In recent weeks, Fauci had raised the percentage: from 70% to 75%, and then to 75%, 80%, and 85%.

Much of what Fauci says about vaccinated people needing to wear masks and isolate, is his judgment and is not backed up by definitive studies. There is no definitive study demonstrating that vaccinated people have communicated COVID to susceptible people. In fairness to Dr. Fauci he is offering his best judgement. When questioned he ought to asked just what studies (ongoing or completed) he cites to make those judgments.
What if it turns out Fauci is an agoraphobic hypochondriac.

I don’t believe that. To suggest “his judgement” drives, and is the basis of, his rules for society, would imply integrity. What he declares has very little to do with medical “judgement” or integrity.
He simply is a little tyrant wannabe, who is enjoying the moment.
Yes it unbelievable that the little worm has been allowed to get away with being one of the culprits. I have a feeling DJT has plans for him.
I have been ignoring him from the beginning
Just heard on FOX News Radio this morning, April 16, 2021, government-generated statistics about 600,000 more deaths than expected in 2020 in the USA, and the greater majority caused directly or indirectly by Covid-19.
H U G E numbers of people could have been kept out of ICU's and off of ventilators by existing early treatment therapeutics, which were never prescribed, and people allowed to go home and JUST TO BE SICK until they couldn't breath, and then admitted to ICUs.
Our own state House member is a pharmacist and owns a pharmacy in our county. He double-checked for us the legality of prescribing several of the best known early treatment pharmaceuticals specifically for COVID-19 positive patients. LEGAL (!!) TO DO SO.
But few doctors here are in actual private practice. Most work for hospital systems, HMOs, etc. CDC and NIH have put pressure on the doctors' bosses to NOT prescribe.
We, knowing this, and physicians in our county and adjacent counties knowing that we know this (We've done the research, and have found pharmacists and just a couple of MDs to verify this) refuse to answer our questions about this subject.
We developed a survey on these things to be completed by any doctor, hospital chief medical officer, or hospital system officers. We asked about early treatment protocols, and whether there are any that they would prescribe to their patients. Answers? NONE.
Since the same medical professionals will neither answer questions about early treatment protocols (YES, they are free to disagree and even chide or rebuke us for our insistence on these things, but they simply will not answer), WE WILL NOT TRUST THEM TO TELL US THE TRUTH ABOUT VACCINES. AND WE WILL NOT SUBMIT TO THEM.
They have proven themselves to us to be not deserving of our trust. It is as simple as that.
We have written SEVEN letters to our elected representatives on these matters to our (mostly Republican) elected representatives on the federal, state, and local levels. The only person to answer us at all is our Indiana House of Representatives member, the pharmacist, Steve Davisson (R-IN73rd).
U.S. Seantor Todd Young (R-IN) will not touch this. U.S. Senator Mike Braun (R-IN) will not touch this. U.S. Represenatative Trey Hollingsworth (R-IN-9th) will not touch this. Indiana State Senator Erin Houchin will not touch this. Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb will not touch this. The Washington County Indiana Department of Health will not touch this.
But all of these elected representatives, who will not answer questions about the early treatment of sick people, are continuously telling us to get in line and get a vaccine.
O! The brainwashing and manipulation that has been going on !
If you are someone who insists that all of us should get a vaccine, then, we ask, why would you not also be just so insistent that those already sick should be given the option of early treatment?
