Yes, but someone must still DO the withdrawl. Setting dates and laying the ground work are important. Trump certainly deserves credit for it. But Trump should have done this during his presidency. It would have been a great talking point when he was up for re-election.
And you can tell that it is the absolute best thing for the U.S. because people like Inhofe, McConnell, and Graham are opposing it.

Biden is going to escalate the conflict again to take credit for Trump’s achievement. The Taliban has not attacked US troops in nearly a year. Biden will fix that.

No one in the government was going to let Trump do anything. They probably even contested what he could eat for breakfast each morning.
Biden’s freeing up more troops to put into Syria. It’s a never ending cycle.
While I’m glad we’re getting out of Afghanistan, why would Biden schedule it on 9/11? This just blows my mind. The Muslims will forever treat this as The Great Satan’s surrender on one of the most auspicious dates in their history. Is this Biden “taking a knee” towards Mecca?
So does this mean we have won the hearts and minds of the Afghan people?
If after 20 years you haven’t won yet, it’s a good bet you will never win.

1. Withdraw from the sh!thole.
2. Let them fight until they get strong leaders.
3. Bomb the leaders while stirring up in fighting.
4. Repeat as necessary.
Both SloJo and Pat don’t seem to realize that wars don’t end when you stop fighting. They end when the enemy stops fighting.
Just about every news article ignores Trump’s role in this. They only talk about Biden ending America’s longest war on 9/11/21.
It is all for show and the nation is duped once again.
