An Army investigation into why low-flying D.C. National Guard helicopters hovered above Black Lives Matter protesters last June determined that while the use of the helicopters was "reasonable," there were performance shortcomings that day.
Those performance issues have resulted in disciplinary actions against certain individuals, according to Army officials. The investigation has also led the Army to implement changes in procedures for when Guard helicopters can be used for crowd control.
The D.C. National Guard's investigation was triggered by the outcry that followed the use of medical evacuation helicopters that hovered above Black Lives Matter protesters on the night of June 1, 2020.
Earlier that day, federal law enforcement forces had forcibly removed protesters from the area in front of Lafayette Square across from the White House. National Guard troops stationed in the Square did not participate in that action but reinforced the newly established perimeter.

There's something happening here What it ain't exactly clear
That would have been the perfect time to empty out the porta-potty (if one exists on a copter).
“Oops, I pressed the wrong button!”
Joerack Obiden will finish US off.
I’ve had the same thoughts too except my idea was where I’d like to pull what Big Enos and Little Enos did in “Smokey an the Bandit II” where (Big Enos was running for office, can’t remember what it was) where they flew over their opponent’s campaign rally with P-51’sloaded wit manure. The opponent struck back by loading a B-25 full of manure. I’d love to see someone fly over a BLM and/or Antifa with a B-17/24/26/29 loaded with manure.
Antifa and BLM are the most pampered violent “protesters” in the history of the world.
Watched that “helicopter incident”, thought it was great use of the helicopter.
Now we have a new CINC and the military says what he wants.
Sadly, it has to be that way no matter how destructive that CINC is.
Bet he, and his media, will feel differently if a mob causes him trouble though.
Only shortcoming was failure to eradicate the mob.
Pinochet had a better use for them.
I would pay money to watch somebody ‘drop a full load’
on top of BLM and/or Antifa! I would want a microphone to catch the profane hysteria that would result.
Good times!
They don’t want a helicopter over their heads but want us to litter the hillsides and beach fronts with windmills.
How dare they break up the riots!
“certain individuals” must be the new DoD code for “white guys.”
The ironic thing is that if we come to a point when TPTB want the riots to stop, it will be a Democrat President who does it while the media celebrates the clampdown.
Touche’
Hover a helicopter over BLM protestors and get punished. Murder a Trump supporter at a rally and there is no punishment.
Right before our eyes, the DNC is turning the military into a domestic police force, which will not end well for American constitutionalists.
Years back when the proto-BLM protested a little underage crack ho getting arrested, after she eluded and then assaulted the popo, local good ol’ boys driving huge diesel trucks kept driving by the protest, “rolling coal”.
This predated the “I can’t breathe” thing and ironically, they really could not.
It was hilarious.
Our Army is now run by cowards who won’t back their men on the ground during riots.
Never thought I’d live to see that betrayal. Glad my father-in-law died a couple years ago. He would be ashamed to see the Army in disarray like it is today (Bombed at Pearl Harbor, SW Pacific Campaigns including Tinian, Saipan, Eniwetok, IWO JIMA and 15 years of Cold War intelligence activities that helped stop the Soviet Bloc invasion of West Germany. Plus he was a leading DC official who quit because the new black leftist govt in DC wouldn’t support their own people who actually served the people.
Clear to me.
We are a nation that has forgotten God.
We are now reaping what we’ve sown.
People need to get saved.
Our nation needs revival.
BLM and antifa work for the government
