So sue me. The cop made a bad decision to shoot an apparently unarmed kid with his hands up and open. Poor training, trigger happy, mistake, or intentional, it is plain wrong. Murder in my personal opinion. I'm sure the charge will be made, I won't object; let the courts sort it out.

And thank goodness for bodycam video.

That’s just it...in order for us to really see what happened we have to slow the video 1/4 speed. The cop on the run going after the hoodlum couldn’t slow down ongoing reality that way and he had to make a split decision whether to shoot or fire. The gun was filmed on the ground on body cam resting on the ground some feet from the criminal’s head. The miscreant had ditched it before turning while raising his hands and met his doom.

No one has the full story and video analysis yet..but YOU..just like the Media so ready to look at a body cam video ONLINE NO LESS and in your PERSONAL opinion this is murder.

OK, so the cop is chasing a kid who was involved in an earlier shooting incident in the middle of the night, a kid who is running with a pistol (in his hand or waistband), runs to a fence, where he apparently tossed the pistol (cop can’t see that), and quickly spins around pulling his hand out of his waistband or pocket, cop shoots and you call it murder?

People are playing the video at 1/4 speed and frame by frame to see exactly what is happening and you are calling it 100% bad shot? If you were confronted by someone who you knew was armed and he spun around would you assume that he was now unarmed? You’re asking for lightning-fast reflexes and extraordinary senses from police.

I’m not saying it was a good shoot, and no doubt Chicago will burn, but I have to give the cop the benefit of the doubt on this one.
