To: Navy Patriot

I feel terrible for the lady who made a mistake in a world where mistakes are not permitted, but I can’t help but think that she did the world a real service - and should be getting a medal instead of a trial.

Yeah, she shot a dirtbag - but she also almost shot the two officers she was with. Try that as a civilian and you go to jail for a host of charges.

Ms Potter was a civilized person unprepared to engage in a war with uncivilized animals, and part of that unpreparedness was her own fault.

There will be no societal gain for locking her up, but there would have been considerable societal gain by locking Wright up for twenty five years on his first offense.
