Texas land commissioner and member of the Bush political dynasty, George P. Bush, told Dallas radio host Mark Davis today that he is considering a primary challenge against incumbent Attorney General Ken Paxton. This isn’t the first time Bush has indicated contemplation of such a run. Last year, after improper use of office allegations were levied at Paxton by members of his executive team, a spokesman for Bush said the land commissioner was “keep[ing] all options open.”
But Thursday’s radio spot was the first time the land commissioner himself acknowledged the possibility.
“There have been some serious allegations levied against the current Attorney General … that the FBI is currently investigating,” Bush told Davis.
He added, “Personally, I think that the top law enforcement official in Texas needs to be above reproach — needs to be a conservative advocate that pushes back on the Biden administration — and I’m seriously considering a run for attorney general.”

The potential primary battle would test whether Bush can convince voters to dump Paxton, the embattled incumbent and Trump loyalist.
Sounds like a Uniparty stooge.
Ken Paxton is the Republican Texas Attorney General. Paxton is the guy who filed the federal lawsuit against the swing states which cheated, and threw the 2020 presidential election to Biden. The suit charged that those states denied citizens of other states equal rights to have their votes counted.
This is why the Bushes want to replace Ken Paxton.
P is a Retarded UniParty stooge.
I’m with Trump these days. If he says leave the Republican party I’m out in a millisecond. Until then I’m still with President BUsh and he’s still my President!!
Mr. Paxton, who turns 58 next month, has been the attack dog of Texas Republicans’ aggressive conservative agenda, taking on high-profile legal battles that made him popular with the Trump administration — leading the effort waged by Republican-led states to overturn the Affordable Care Act, defending the state’s ban on sanctuary cities, challenging an Obama-era program that shielded young immigrants from deportation and making it harder to vote by mail during the coronavirus pandemic.

I agree. At this point in time I am not optimistic. I was just listening to an old song by Renaissance called “Mother Russia”. I believe it is about Solzhenhitsyn. One of the lines is “Mother Russia I cry for you”. That is exactly how I feel about our country right now. But I will never give up.
Enough of the Bushes, already. Get a job.
Please, please, pleeeese, no more Bushes is any office in the land! Not even dog catcher.
ENOULGH, ALREADY!!!!!!
Never ever ever support another Bush. Done with that lil dynasty.
Prescott Bush, your great grandfather was bad as a senator. Wish he was run over by a train...
This one is half Mexican.
Well, in his favor, he probably did learn something about criminal law when his mother got caught smuggling jewelry into the country. A little pressure in the right places, and the problem goes away.
A retired judge here in Houston suggested that I run for AG. I thought she was joking. Maybe not, if our choice is going to be Paxton or Bush.
The world does not need another one worlder Bush.
Their “compassionate conservatism” was and is bull shit.
Interesting. He was known as a virtual parody of 1920’s desk pounding enraged boss who hated his employees.
HELL NO!
DOUBLE HELL NO to P!
The Bush name in no longer is desirable in the GOP.
The Bush name in no longer is desirable In TEXAS!
