This is absolutely outrageous!
I actually watched the first news conference the police dept had the morning after the accidental shooting with a lot of press there. Lasted at least 30 minutes so they could answer questions and appease all who were in attendance. Some female voices were angrily DEMANDING that the officer’s name be released ASAP, and the whole world knew her name in less than 24 hours.
I was just thinking this morning why there is still silence on Ashli Babbitt’s killer. Well, here’s my answer; most likely we will never know. Where’s the transparency? It is unacceptable that a murder happened in the Capitol and it’s swept under the rug like it never happened.
I really don’t want to live amongst these evil creatures anymore. Time to push back or divvy up the US.
What really pisses me off is that NOT A SINGLE REPUBLICAN SENATOR gives a damn about this. None of them are worth the powder it would take to blow them to hell, they are total scum without a single moral fiber in their head. May they rot in their graves.
It is totally outrageous what this government has become and it is because the ENTIRE republican senate is brain dead, worthless and have caused this tragedy.
This just reinforces my post-January 6th decision to drop my GOP registration.

A U.S. Capitol Police lieutenant left his service weapon in a bathroom Monday night and the unattended gun was discovered later by another Capitol Police officer.
After the House adjourned on Monday, Lt. Mike Byrd left his Glock 22 in a bathroom in the Capitol Visitor Center complex, according to sources familiar with the incident. Byrd is the commander of the House Chambers section of the Capitol Police and was on the job Tuesday and Wednesday.
Byrd addressed the incident at Tuesday morning’s officer roll call and, according to sources, told fellow officers that he “will be treated differently” because of his rank as a lieutenant. It was not clear what exactly the lieutenant meant by the comment.
