Once the rest of the world caught up to us by the 1970s, two things have happened that tell me your idea of “progress” is neither normal nor realistic:
1. The U.S. has run up a national debt of $30 trillion — with tens of trillions of dollars in future liabilities — propping up this “diamond” scheme.
2. Even though our country has functioned as a “diamond,” our ECONOMY still functions very much like a “pyramid.” What has changed over the years is that the corners of that pyramid that are our slave and peasant classes are now living in places like China and South America.
I know that part of the background checks is to see who you donated too.
Not donating to the correct thing was is almost as bad.
Even in red areas.
No social media presence is also a big red flag.
I never said anything like taxing/spending our way to the diamond shape. I never said it’s possible even except for that timeframe, but it should be the ‘ideal’ situation. I’m not sure if you’re saying we should just go ‘f it, it’s always been bad and always will’ as a society. Seems kinda like that way to me. I’m gonna guess also that you have yours and might prefer a pyramid shape so you stay on the top end.
Get rid of all social media. It’s nothing but a sewer.
You really can’t win, but when it comes to social media the best option is probably from the movies Wargames ‘strange game the only winning move is not to play’.
I did this 5 or 6 years ago.. maybe even longer, I can’t remember..
I’m not getting trump rich, but I am doing ok.
I’m sure if I was to hire someone, I can’t ask “trump or Biden?” and use their answer to decide.
However, I have one commission based sales person (the rest is family) and I met them on social media, so I already knew who they supported.
same with most of my venders. You spout Biden, I spend somewhere else. Your company goes “woke” I spend somewhere else.
my main supplier of parts was Amazon (they are actually very competitive on prices) now it’s bongino supporter Rock Auto.
FR is the only “social media” I do, I don’t even have email.
You can’t directly ask, but you can google and screen out a lot of people very easily, especially if they’ve doxed themselves with their real info. And again, it doesn’t matter what you say really, it’s gonna piss someone off.
I’ve seen people whine and moan about drinking too much, cutting off their genitals, and general mental issues and not hiding it. That stuff stays around forever. I’m just throwing a general caution up. I never did it, but I came close a few times.
None of my friends and associates have social media accounts beyond LinkedIn. All are gainfully employed and I have had no issues receiving job offers. My gen z sons do not have social media accounts and neither do their friends.
Gen X here. Greed is good. I didn't start my business to make YOU rich. Took some lumps and setbacks along the way but my business partners and employees made out well regardless.
Life sucks I guess if you have no talents/ambitions/work ethic/willingness to take a risk.
My point is that the pyramid is NORMAL. My definition of "progress" is when the entire pyramid advances and there is unlimited mobility within the pyramid, not when it gets distorted into a "diamond" that can't be normal if it is an anomaly that requires shady, delusional accounting and massive government intervention to prop it up.
The entire Left operates as a single party and without formal lines of control still manages to control everyone on the Left to follow the right signals, in the right direction, lest they too come under the negative gaze from the amorphous politburo.
Ironically our American "Kristallnacht" against Conservatives is being spearheaded by Leftist Jews in Congress, i.e. Schumer, Schiff, Blumenthal, Nadler, etc ...
Good. The woke progressives they hire will destroy these businesses.
HR departments are run by fat women who hate men.
As long as you hired US citizens and no visa holders or “immigrants” then all is good.
