“I’m done with the back-stabbing GOP. “

A friend once said of any organization that the organization is like a blanket thrown over a lot of people who are experiencing Brownian motion. Occasionally an observer will note that the blanket is moving one way or another and that the organization is therefore going in this or that direction. In reality, it is the individuals who are important and not the organization. It’s obvious that some Democrats run as Republicans to get elected. That’s because there is already a Democrat running and he is sucking up the funding and party support or that it’s just an area where a Republican will win. Also, some states allow crossover primary voting so Democrats have a voice in who the opponent they face will be, so they cross over and vote for someone they would like to either have their candidate run against or who, if he wins, will support their agenda. Politics is dirty business. That doesn’t mean we should wash our hands of it. Every vote is needed and even RINO’s have their uses. The majority party, or blanket, sets the agenda. Would you rather have lower taxes on the agenda, or stimulus checks to illegal aliens on the agenda?

In my whole life, I’m 67, I have only voted for two men I really wanted in office. Reagan and Trump. The rest were just my little contribution to controlling the agenda.

Nancy is teeing up the 25th Amendment. There is no way Chairman Joe will make it through a protracted speech standing at the podium without embarrassing himself in front of both houses and the nation. Pelosi knows this, as do Biden's handlers. Dr. Jill won't be able to stand next to him to work his brain, and the media will start to question his vigor and vitality.

This is Pelosi's way of calling out Biden and letting him know it's time to start making way for Kamala.

Any Republican who attends should wear a shirt with the sign, "ChiComJoe is a traitor" on the back, then sit so TraitorJoe can see it.

Joe Biden has been practicing this speech since last summer. I guess he finally nailed it, which is why Pelosi is inviting him to speak.

Patriotic Republicans (I don’t think there are any patriotic Democrats) should boycott the upcoming clown show.

Clown show indeed cause it going to be nothing but dementia-ridden #notmypresident rambling on with coherent and non-coherent teleprompter lie after lie after lie after lie for 50+ odd minutes if the lame arse Thief-in-Chief can even make that far. I would rather put my used bought from a Leftist “He isn’t my President” T-shirt on and watch something else on TV.....

C’mon, man. It’ll be the shortest speech in presidential history. He’ll step up to the podium and announce, “Hello, I’m Joe Biden and I’m running for the Senate.”

If that isn’t it, he’ll stand there with that squinty-eyed look and a pained expression on his face as he struggles to understand the meaning of what he’s trying to read off the teleprompter. Probably fifteen minutes long at the most. The news media will compare it to Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address for brevity and say it was magnificent.

Because we all know the old man isn’t capable of this, there is an ominous foreboding about this invitation.

How are they going to do this? Will it be virtual? The usual swarm of handshakers as the Pres comes in doesn’t seem possible? Or as you intimate, is there something else afoot?

I have two friends giving serious consideration to running for Congress. One ran and lost in the General election last year. The other is a total newbie.

I think Trump gave the State of the Union address a month or so ago. 😏

The problem with anyone starting a new career is resume. If they are going from no leadership or legal background into politics and they are running against someone who has a decent resume and some accomplishments then it’s a tough slog. If they have no resume then I’d suggest starting at a state office; state senator or representative. However, if they have even, say, a successful small business and the competition has been an unpaid aide to Senator such-an-such, go for it. And, of course, resume and accomplishments are all tied up with funding. Years ago a successful Senate campaign ran ten million dollars. A successful House average ran three million. My guess is it takes a lot more money now. Party backing would help, but it’s going to go to the person who has been very active in the party already.

Hmm, let me think. Should I watch Dimentia Joe or the first night of the NFL Draft?

Most people will opt for the draft.

I agree. one is a newbie in an open seat due to an announced incumbent retirement. The other is a well known Conservative state delegate in a very liberal state.

He ran and lost last time. Has excellent name recognition and a very easy to remember name at that.

He’s in a Dem +6 district so it’s a hard slog.

A “Joint Session”?

they’re gonna smoke joints ,and talk the ignorant leftist politics that are “thought” up under the influence, and then, hundreds of millions of innocent people suffer from “the drugs talking”.

"Would you rather have lower taxes on the agenda, or stimulus checks to illegal aliens on the agenda?"

And you actually think that with unlimited voter fraud in place, that a true Conservative President and Congress will be in control ever again? The GOP is not redeemable, and will never be reformed, because there are too many people who are willing to vote for the bad GOP candidate anyway. It's a terrible cycle that too many people accept. Go along, to get along. I did that long enough. I won't be doing it ever again.
