Nolte: BLM, Antifa Checkmate Democrat-Run Cities into Committing Suicide
Breitbart ^ | 04/13/2021 | John Notle

Posted on 04/13/2021 6:11:20 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

The left-wing terrorists in Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa have, with a lot of help from the ratings-starved corporate media, done a brilliant job checkmating a countless number of Democrat-run cities into committing suicide.

These cities are damned if they do and damned if they don’t, and that’s the whole idea.

Before and after in Detroit - this is what happens to your once great city when it is lead by Democrats:

detroit8

detroit1a1

Problem is, once they spoiled their own nests - b/c of what they voted for - they move into the suburbs and start the same pattern all over again.

I only feel sorry for the conservatives stuck in these cities as they degenerate into third-world h**l-holes.

For the leftists and even the merely ambivalent there - this is what you get - riots, looting, burning, crime, fear... This is what you voted for or at least made no effort to prevent. I have no sympathy for you, and no I won't help. You 'effed it up, you fix it.

This immense amount of aid given to Democratic urban strongholds and blue states is but temporary relief. The truth is that urban commercial real estate is declining in occupancy and value. Many who can are moving to suburbs. Central urban residential rents and values are also declining. Tax revenues ( blamed on COVID) have declined sharply. Most significantly the amount of private capital investment is now a trickle in what is unlivable, lawless urban America. The new technologies have demonstrated that businesses do not require an expensive urban, central location to be profitable. Change, real change has arrived in America.

Democrats are purposely trying to push section 8 housing out to the suburbs, labelling suburbs as racist for government social-engineering purposes.

I don’t buy the “ratings starved” BS, at all.

Video of the Floyd riots would have been ratings gold.

The Media works for other masters.

Anybody know what time today's DC riots are scheduled for? I want to make sure I'm watching MSM when they happen. DC is all ready for them: sandbags on subway gratings, fences down last night, light infantry at the ready...

.......in the eighties, we had what was then known as “minority set asides” in all our discussions with City of Austin staffers. This meant that as a developer or contractor you had to “set aside” a certain percentage of work for minorities. That they were qualified or not did not make a tinkers damn to a City Staffer.

With respect to Notle’s article, I think we are headed into a period in America where whole cities are “set aside” for the lefties to play their political games while the proponents of this marxist dogma go off and buy million dollar houses. It doesn’t make any sense but that is the way of “lefties”. They shoot themselves in the foot and then reload and shoot again.

That 10th Mountain Div patch is on the right sleeve, signifying deployment to a combat theater at some point in the past, not the current assignment

I am not pleased by the destruction of once-great cities.

One can hope enough information makes it out to suburbia, that middle-class women are frightened of the anarchy and vote for more law and order, instead of appeasing the terrorists.

That’s the only way the situation changes without civil war. Some people in this country need to feel the pain of their bad decisions. Do I think they will make the correlation, no I don’t. Too many propagandized sheep lack critical thinking skills. That leaves only two options, submit or fight, and I don’t see much fight in us right now.
