Hundreds of protesters defied a 7pm curfew in Minneapolis on Monday night as police clashed with protesters for the second night in a row leading to multiple arrests following the fatal shooting of a black man by a female cop.
Concrete barriers had been erected outside the Brooklyn Center Police headquarters and a number of high profile sports games were canceled following Daunte Wright's death Sunday.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz had announced a curfew from 7 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday for the three counties that include Brooklyn Center, Minneapolis and the capital of St. Paul.

I’m surprised it wasn’t worse. With chauvin there will be either celebration riots or pissed off riots. No other option.
I think the celebration ones would do less damage, but not sure.

In ‘68 the national guard was out shooting looters. So it was better then.
I tend to think that if Chauvin is found guilty, people in the community will feel that this is proof of how racist the police force is — time to riot!

Apparently the media is getting what they wanted. Expand the riots from a local event to nationwide to increase their circulation and viewership. Their dilemma is their favorite 24/7 target, Orangeman, is no longer at the helm and now they have a Dem President ally running the country. Eventually, he is going to be collateral damage in their efforts to sensationalize and drive this thing out of control.
You are absolutely correct. Without Trump in the Whitehouse, they have nothing to even fake news into sticking and everyone knows it’s all made up now if they didn’t before. It’s going to backfire gloriously in my educated opinion.

The “Press” had to lie about the riots, er protests, before the election just to keep a lid on the flying monkeys. They are playing with fire.
Now, it’s hard to see how the Left can benefit from this, but they can’t control it.
Back then they (properly trained law enforcement) were using attack dogs and high pressure fire hoses. They were able to do their job.
What happened?????
