Sen. Ted Cruz said Americans and Israelis will be murdered as result of the Biden administration’s decision to send hundreds of millions of dollars to Palestinians.
On Wednesday, the White House announced it would provide $250 million to Palestinians, despite the Taylor Force Act that prevents U.S. taxpayer dollars from supporting the Palestinian Authority while it pays stipends and pensions to terrorists and their families.
“We’re sending American taxpayer funds to the Palestinian Authority so they can fund terrorists and as a result of Joe Biden’s decision, Americans will die. Israelis will die. This money that Joe Biden is sending to terrorists will be used to commit more acts of terrorism, to incentivize terrorists.”
“Barack Obama had been the most anti-Israel president ever … and I’m worried that Joe Biden wants to beat that record. We have given over $6.3 billion dollars to the Palestinian Authority. The Palestinian authority is in a unity government with Hamas, a terrorist group that murders Americans and murders Israelis, and for years the Palestinian Authority has had a policy that’s called the pay-to-slay policy. … When terrorists murder people, the Palestinian government pays their families in perpetuity.”
Cruz stated, “Taylor Force force was a U.S. Army veteran — a Texan — who was murdered in Tel Aviv. He was one of 11 people stabbed in 2016 by a terrorist. … The Palestinian authority paid the family of the terrorist every year. It would send $25,000 to the family in support. The Taylor Force Act said … we’re not going to send U.S. taxpayer money for you to fund terrorists to kill Americans.”
On Thursday, Cruz authored a letter — sent to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and signed by 17 other Republican senators — addressing the Biden administration’s violation of the Taylor Force Act.

While the primary PLO terrorists’ targets remain Israeli Jews and Christians, they murder many muslims too. Most importantly, it is morally indefensible for American money to be supporting the continuation of these terrorist murderers’ attacks and occupation of Israeli territory. Subsidizing and supporting these evil gangsters drags America down into the ethical sewer of the international nazi/communist/leftist”progressivist” movement. Its a gross embarrassment to USA, which has striven to stand for far better and more noble principles.
That's a bit wordy Teddy, should be:
Americans Will Die Because Joe Biden ...
Sounds like depraved indifference to human life to me.
Impeach and convict.
Get an injunction!
Appropriations Clause. Article I, Section 9, Clause 7: No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law;
It’s getting nasty these days.
I still don’t get how an Executive Order can supercede Congressional Laws on the books. What am I missing here? It used to be that E.O.’s only applied to the Executive Branch.
<< “Barack Obama had been the most anti-Israel president ever … and I’m worried that Joe Biden wants to beat that record. >>
It’s Obama attempting to beat his own record through puppet-proxy Biden.
This is the biggest problem with democrats.
They believe throwing money around is the answer to everything....
Just look at most Democrat Cities plus
Iran and Falistine....
Someone with better research talents than mine could have fun compiling the times, places, manner and number of innocents killed/murdered by Leftist policies and tyrants since 1917.
All of which, of course, the Left regards as necessary collateral damage.
Rough estimates put it over 100 million....
Biden administration adviser meetings must look like a cuckoo nest at feeding time.
Money given to the Palestinians makes the U.S. a state sponsor of terrorism, IMO.
Yet Sen. Cruz will not describe ChiComJoe as a traitor to the United States of America.
Wouldn’t be prudent.
Post 6 nails it.
There President has no authority to do this.
Yet the spineless Republicans sit back and watch scared of their shadow.
