Republicans slammed President Joe Biden's $2.7 trillion infrastructure plan as a 'dog's breakfast of slush funds' for Democrats as the Biden administration released a state-by-state breakdown of problems that need addressing in each state
The GOP ramped up their criticism of the bill they say stretches far beyond traditional infrastructure ahead of bipartisan meeting at the White House.
The White House breakdown included the money needed to fix roads in dire conditions, barely functioning bridges, the lack of residents with access to broadband and veterans health.

In California, there are 1,536 bridges and over 14,220 miles of highway in poor condition.
California has some of the highest taxes on gas in the country but the funds have been continuously diverted, aka stolen, away from roads to so called mass transit, bike lanes, and other spending
RESILIENT INFRASTRUCTURE: From 2010 to 2020, California experienced 16 extreme weather events, costing the state up to $50-1000 billion in damages.
Thanks to the Greens, any sort of new infrastructure for this purpose, for example, new dams are impossible to build. The state made a conscious decision decided not to invest in resiliency
DRINKING WATER: Over the next 20 years, California’s drinking water infrastructure will require $51 billion in additional funding.
California refuses to invest in water storage and delivery. It is living off the legacy of Mulholland and Pat Brown
• HOME ENERGY: In California, an average low-income family spends 4-6% of their income on home energy costs forcing tough choices between paying energy bills and buying food, medicine or other essentials.
By its "Green" energy mandates California intentionally increases the price of energy.
RINOs pretend to care, but they don’t.
They worked against Trump and are fine being the minority party that eats scraps.
So North Dakota has to pay for Kalifornia’s problems, eh?
the lack of residents with access to broadband
This plays directly into Clarence Thomas’ statement about social media being classified as a “common carrier” and regulated. I like it.
In California there is not much lack of access to broadband. It is a choice, probably economic, not to pay $50-$75 a month for it.
The fixed election needs to be corrected. Most problems will then fix themselves.
Governor Davis drained the Highway funds accounts 3 times & left behind I O U’s.
Yes and a lot of gas tax money goes to parks over 600 of them and the chuck holes keep growing California the tobacco road west.
Of course they don’t care. They will use this to send out scary fundraising letters. They can go fly a kite.
The Republican Party hated Trump because he was actually trying to rein in government. You don’t get rich as a politician unless you can use bribes and extortion to get money from big donors.
p
That's the first democrat lie...
If Trump had come up with a $2 trillion infrastructure plan where 5 million went to fixing roads and bridges and the rest of the money went to helping the 'spiritual infrastructure' of the country...
(money went to conservative Churches)
- would the bimbos and pretentious 'men' of the press object to the 'bait and switch'?
I suspect they would...
