Victor Davis Hanson rips Biden for 'megalomania' President uses 'Trump did it!' as excuse for 'any embarrassment'

Victor Davis Hanson says Joe Biden is suffering from "megalomania," gripped with the delusion that he is the answer to all of the problems he blames on Donald Trump.

"Of all Biden’s diminishing powers, megalomania seems the last to go," Hanson wrote at American Greatness. "So instead of claiming credit for his predecessor’s accomplishments, Biden did the very opposite, with pretensions he would outdo Obamacare, the New Deal, and the Great Society all at once. In that vein, he has not only misrepresented Trump’s achievements, but in spite and ignorance sought to undo them at the border, on the economy, and in public health."

Hanson, a fellow of the Center for American Greatness and a senior fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, is an American military historian, columnist, former classics professor and scholar of ancient warfare.

He said Biden's rhetoric not only is a danger to himself but to the country.

"Biden is back to habitual demonizing the former 'chumps' and 'dregs' with a new epithet of 'Neanderthals.' His short-term memory is stuck on mask obsessions, as if the more the Neanderthals are freed of them by vaccinations and growing herd immunity, the more he should mumble that they need two not just one," he wrote.

Searched a couple different ways and nuthin', so. Anyway, I wouldn't normally disagree with VDH but he missed this one because these assclowns know NO embarrassment. Other than that, as usual VDH is on the money.

VDH is missing something.
Biden isn’t the one suffering from megalomania. The folks using Biden like a sock puppet are the megalomaniacs.
But why shouldn’t they be?
They stole an election in broad daylight, they are looting the treasury, and destroying the economy. And anyone who dares to call them on is a ‘conspiracy theorist’ or ‘denying science.’

VDH is as aware as anyone that Joe isn't calling the shots, hence the allusion to short-term memory. The 0bama staffers who are, aren't particularly good at it and are, as staffers tend to do, promoting their own little fiefdoms instead of coordinating them into overall policy. Government by committee isn't working and there's no front man to take up the reins. Harris's dodging of the hot potato that is the Biden-initiated border crisis was an exercise in blame avoidance but a lost opportunity for the optics of leadership, covered only temporarily by the ovine media because there is really only so much they can do given the enormity of the problem.

The problem before them is that what the throne-sniffers boasted to be "laser-like focus" on the part of 0bama has turned into the image of a mental casualty playing with his toes. Joe is obsessed on masks while the Chinese are gobbling up the Pacific, the Russians Ukraine; and the Iranians and the Palestinian Authority have just learned that Joe's team will trade bribes for good press. The media have grown fond of labeling Trump's administration "chaotic" but what we're now seeing before us in Stolengrad On The Potomac is the real thing.
