POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- The woman inside the truck of a fleeing murder suspect shared new details on an hours-long pursuit through four counties that began in Murrieta and came to a crashing end in Pomona.
Several law enforcement vehicles were at the scene the moment the murder suspect crashed a pickup truck and surrendered near the intersection of Holt and San Antonio avenues in Pomona around 7 p.m. A passenger in the truck -- later identified as Roxy Rich from Bakersfield -- was taken into custody, questioned and later released.
Rich, says the chase started around 5:30 p.m. in Temecula. She was surprised to learn the driver, a friend of hers who is also from Bakersfield, was wanted for murder.
"He's an honest man... I don't know him like that, but I know him enough to know he's not a person to murder someone," she said. "He had to have a reason to react to an action."
(check the video!)
4 counties? He got good gas mileage!
They show and name the passenger, but not the suspect.
She, Roxy Rich (a Rosie Perez look-alike) is shown exiting the vehicle, and pulling her pants up in order to cover her underwear. The word “Floozie” comes to mind.
Was traveling West from East Los Angeles yesterday evening toward
downtown Los Angeles on the 60 Freeway at 07:45 - 07:55 pm. During
the ten minutes I saw in excess of ten police vehicles headed East at a
high rate of speed with lights flashing, no sirens.
Don’t laugh about the siren comment. These days I do see (hear)
sirens on freeways once in a while.
While this was later, the guy did go through four counties.
I’m pretty sure this must have been related.
I’ve lived very near Pomona and I know the area they were caught in well. No wonder they tried to get away there.
It’s full of drug dealers, users and welfare creeps. People like her, complete and absolute human garbage. That area of Pomona is full of those exact types.
If she says he’s not the type to murder anyone, then that means he is exactly the type to murder someone and so is she.
Ummm. This chicks pulling her pants up. Me thinks this is a hooker he picked up. Wrong place wrong time.
A brother lives in the Upland/Rancho Cucamonga area. I have been visiting there with him three times since late 2019. He and I have both commented that as far as what we drive on the I-210 (mostly), I-15, I-210, I-10 & I-215 in San Berdoo, Redlands, Riverside and East, it has seemed like the CHP force has disappeared, siting them is so rare.
The four counties most likely were Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange and Los Angeles.
I agree with that.
They are being used as general police officers > IMO.
The four counties most likely were Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange and Los Angeles.
The chase started in Murrieta in Riverside County. Here is a map that has Murrieta on it (south and east).
His end point was in Pomona, which is at the nearly eastern end of Los Angeles County. Just about everything due East & North East of Pomona is San Bernardino County.
West of where he started in Murrieta (up and over the coastal mountains) is Orange County.
Here’s a map. https://www.mapsofworld.com/usa/county-maps/california/orange-county-map.html
In that map you can see how you can draw a frame to include the south west end of San Bernardino County, western Riverside County, eastern edge of Orange County and the southeast end of Los Angeles County, all within a rectangle about 25 to 30 miles long and maybe 10 to 15 miles wide, and with multiple possible Interstate highways within or crossing it.
The name Roxy Rich sounds like a 1960’s stripper.
“she goes by “Mazarati Gold”
It looks like he has been putting his private parts places where I wouldn't put a walking stick.
Roxy Rich has the IQ of a Cumquat (spelling is intentional) and her statements sounded rehearsed. She should have been held as a material witness at the least, put under oath, and deposed right in the jail. California justice is almost an oxymoron, led by morons, and reported by morons.
