President Joe Biden will be signing an executive order on Thursday to ban “ghost guns,” a direct assault on the 2nd Amendment.
The executive order may also involve action against “assault” weapons but it is currently unclear at the moment if the order will involve this.
“President Joe Biden is expected to unveil a long-awaited package of executive actions to curb gun violence Thursday at the White House, according to four people familiar with the plan,” Politico reported on Wednesday. “Biden will direct the administration to begin the process of requiring buyers of so-called ghost guns — homemade or makeshift firearms that lack serial numbers — to undergo background checks, according to three people who have spoken to the White House about the plans. He is expected to be joined at the event by Attorney General Merrick Garland.”

Well, since they shoot ghost bullets, you'd have to do a tally of people who've died from ectoplasm.
Not just to sell it, you are required to register and apply a serial number to your self-assembled firearm prior to completing it. Basically, "ghost guns" are now 100% illegal in CA. They must be registered and serialized prior to completion, meaning they are no longer a "ghost", but a registered, serialized and tracked firearm. Soon they will ban "firearm precursors" like 80% lowers.
Liberal man to girlfriend: We don’t need a gun in the house.
Girlfriend: perhaps it’s time that we both start seeing other men.
PING!
Just ... good one.
Xiden, to his credit, apparently wants to bounce most of the executive proposals back to Congress.
I can only hope for such prudence from Commie-La.
You have to at least wait for him to make the order.
Part of me hopes they don’t. It was DC and Chicago’s absurd overreach that brought us the most sweeping 2A victories at the Supreme Court in generations.
The more crazy they get, the easier it is to get enough SCOTUS justices on board with slapping them back to reality. Time to see if President Trump’s appointees are worth anything.
As I have ranted many times, their goal is taking guns from the honest, non-violent people while leaving them in the hands of violent criminals. So they can waltz right in and take whatever they want from their “oppressors” because it is “rightfully” theirs.
Very crafty, these democrats. They caused an epidemic and took full advantage of it to destroy our liberties, and while we were distracted, to put a puppet in the White House, to get rid of Trump, and to march toward One World Government.
I have never heard of ghost guns, but evidently Biden needs a starting block.

Better be law suits and everything else. Don’t let him get away with this. And if there is a attempt with this for assault rifles then it’s not good. He can’t do this. It’s against the constitution. Let’s see how many politicians step up..
The law is pretty clear in its definition of a firearm, so this won't pass judicial scrutiny outside the Ninth Circus.
Anything that requires machining isn't 'readily convertible' to a firearm. If they're that loose with the definition, then a piece of pipe with an endcap becomes a 'firearm.'
In fact some circuits have held that because the AR's design separates the receiver into upper and lower halves, neither half by itself is legally a firearm under Federal law. The ATF has had to walk back some illegal sales prosecutions in some circuits because of this.
It would be ironic if this action by the FICUS led to that outcome being generally recognized among the circuits or even SCOTUS.
Fixed it.
Interesting how this is coming out on the same day as the 9th Circuit Court issued a ruling in support of said “Executive Order”.
Joseph Stolen is an idiot
in order to cure the long-standing racism of our having white ghosts, will someone please send Casper a copy of “Black like Me”???
Barack Obama being sworn in as President was against the Constitution.
How many people stood up?
...and assault drill bits.
that eo is not law
and technically only applies to employees of the executive branch
